What's up this weekend?

Hey Fam!!!!!  What will you be up to this weekend and what are you going to do to stay on track????

I am healing up nicely - just the last two days have been big improvements, so I am not going to rock the boat - Imma keep it chillin!  LOL - Lots of movies, layin in the bed, yappin on the phone when I get bored......

I have been back on the Wagon (yea, that's right) and I have brought myself down off the ledge, so to speak.  I was 196 the day of my plastics, which is 10lbs over my personal goal of 186.  Four days after plastics, I was 210 and about to do a lil steak knife and band-aid intervention on myself cause that was RIDICULOUS!!!!!!

So - I pulled out and dusted off the Wagon and mydailyplate and got to it!  I know that I am also losing some of the swelling as well - but it's been really critical for me to get back on the right protein/carb blend.  Anyhoo - today the scale said 196.4 - I know that's mostly water but I jumped on and off the scale and slid it around on the floor 3 times to check!  LOL  And I am not craving carbs and sweets like I was but I do plan for them in my daily intake - so it's working out even though I am still on physical activity restriction - I have another 4 weeks before I can get to putting in work at the gym.

Enough of my babbling - what are YALL doing today and what are you doing to stay on point????  The weekend is NO EXCUSE TO SLACK!!!!

Man all yall 'Northerners' are in the rain meanwhile it's a HOT ass DROUGHT here in Texas!!  Can you send us some of that rain???  LOL!

I am recovering from plastic surgery I had on 5/27 - an anchor cut tummy tuck and breast lift.  MUCH more brutal than WLS!  I have had a somewhat 'rough' go of it - but I am getting back on track now.

 Hi #1 Mack Mama
do the insurance pay for that ?

Kinda.  LOL.  For the TT, insurance will sometimes pay for what's called a panniculetomy.  This is removal of skin and fat only below the belly button - no muscle repair.  For those who were formerly morbidly obese, muscle repair is needed because the muscles have been stretched so long - so what typically happens is the insurance pays for that and the person pays X amount extra to upgrade to a full TT - usually around $5K more.

*I* had the panni approval and paid $5K extra last year - jacklegg ass surgeon only did the panni and kept my $$ (have some legal things pending on his ass for that) - in addition, the way he did the work he DID do left me with complications so I ended up getting a TT approved by insurance based on how he jacked me up - I added another $5K for a breast lift since I was gonna be knocked out anyway.  Insurance typically will not cover a lift unless you have SERIOUS issues and documentation.

Sorry so long - but it's a long story.

Hey Girlie!!!!

Glad to hear you are doing well.  Chile you know you are gonna be the BOMB-DIGGITY once the swelling goes down and the healing is done.  Those lil extra pounds will be melted away in no time.  I'll even bet the 8 Ball will be black in full affect.

I'm in such a pissy mood today.
I'm at work I don't wanna be here.
Wasting my day...nothing to do here (that I want to do) that I could not do from home.
It's cold in here
I'm tired
It's raining outside
I could be home cleaning my house and washing clothes
Hubby and I got into a really STUPID argument - probably cause I'm in a pissy mood.
I don't wanna be here.
My head itches, I broke a nail
I brought cheese, yogurt and turkey with me to eat today - to bad I don't want it.

Gotta work tomorrow tooo.  Did I say I don't wanna BE HERE!!!!

Peace & Blessings,   Sharon

Hey hey hey! After 2 weeks of working 10-14 hrs a day...........I's FREE!!! It feels so good to be home in the bed, watchin my DVR, and chillin!

I ran a 5K race this AM and got rained on in the end but I still finished in 38 mins even though I was royally pissed off lol. Time could have been better but I'm still proud. My club went to this french bakery afterwards for breakfast and I had an omlette and a croissant. Didn't even feel bad about the croissant.

Wow the wagon plan...you dug that up from waaaaay back in da day lol You ever hear from dude anymore?
