Thanks Dedee. I am happy with BAF. No I don't have a lot of issues in my life but understand those who do and need close friends to discuss those issues. For me friends and family are there when you need them whether you touch base daily, weekly or yearly. Many require something more. I would really miss learning from those of you who post regular. Sometimes I laugh till I poot. However if I posted what I encounter daily and say the things most on my mind. You would tell me to tune into another station. So though I don't contribute much, I do appreciate those who do. I love BAF now and didn't know about it before. Thanks for all the help you give me.

All this talk of BAF being dead is silly (IMHO) and here's why:
1. BAF ain't DEAD!
If you were an old school BAFer then God bless you but don't think of your past time on BAF as the Golden Era of BAF, just think of it as a phase. In life you have many phases - some good; some not so good.
2. BAF is what you make it.
If you're pissed that BAF ain't all that just because some of the "fun people" that you once associated with are no longer here then become a fun person yourself and stop trippin...
3. Other sites are available but they ain't BAF.
Soon after I arrived I started hearing and reading about everyone running over to FACEBOOK and MySpace, etc... However, those same people came back to BAF trying to recruit folks and in turn basically said, "I don't tell people about my WLS..." Well then what is the point of trying to take all of the BAFers over there? Why would they go knowing that support for WLS will not be in effect over there?
