Hey Family!!
I posted a couple of pics of the Steve Harvey's Mentoring Weekend. This was such a good experience for my son. He got to meet young men from all over. He was also surrounded by positive black men who encouraged, uplifted and enlightened these young men.
Steve and the mentors ministered to these young men. They talked to them about how they should conduct themselves as young men, the struggles of being a black man, the importance of getting an education, how to treat a lady, how important it is to have a relationship with God and many other topics that needed to be discussed.
The young men had fun but they learned some things also. Steve was a blessing to not only myself but 99 other single mother households who are trying to raise their boys to be men. I'm blessed to have brothers in my life that love my boys. Everybody doesn't have that......
Hopefully these 100 young men will take what they learned that weekend and pass it on to some more young men and they'll pass it on...........Each One.......Reach One!!
