My 'donnieboy' moment.........

Trina, Kenn is 11 and Kerri just turned 9...neither of them are into boys, but always talks about how cute the Jonas Brothers are ~except the old one they say~....but their little friends at the school....okay the school is 97% white, 2% black, and 1%other.....wears makeup...I mean blush, eye shadow....the works......~sigh~

Kenn wanted to wear make-up....I said HELL NO....I thought about it.....and we talked and I asked her why....I'm always preaching about keeping the lines of communication open....don't want to run her away....so I let her speak......heard her points.....listened very carefully.....made my points......these girls also wear BIG earrings.....and have a second hole in their ear.......so I told Kenn we could compromise......

I said she could wear eyeliner and lip gloss....a dash of mascara.....no BIG earrings, but medium ones with my approval first.....no second hole until she is 13.....no eyeshadow, blush, or foundation until 16 except on dance recitals......she said.....that's fair mommy.....thank you....but can I start to wear just a little heel on my shoes?! ~roll eyes~
