I cried the whole time....... I was so not expecting myself to cry...
As for them not showing the body:
I wonder if Michaels was really in that casket...........
maybe not.........

Maybe they preferred that we remember him dancing and entertaining us on stage rather than our last view of him being in the casket.
I keep watching that clip the media plays over an over of his rehearsal 2 days before he died. He looked good and had some cool new subtle dance moves that I really enjoyed. I'd rather remember him that way. 50 years old and still keeping us enthralled!

"When Alexander saw the breadth of his domain, he wept for there were no more worlds to conquer." Plutach. Not true, for there are always more worlds to conquer.

Honestly that man's physical appearance was maliciously talked about so much in his latter years - I think the family made a sound choice. Why continue to put him thru that public scrutiny as he lay in the casket ???
He never liked the way he looked anyway....he even told that to Oprah back in the 90's.
Im sure everybody has a favorite MJ photo or moment from his career that we can all reflect on.
I just want to say that the memorial was truly fit for a KING

After hearing so many people speak of his spirit, I feel honored to have been among the living when he was and to have been able to experience his magic and music first hand. Not by looking at youtube or old video clips, but remembering the time.....

After listening to the many stories of people that truly knew him, it sounds as if he had many wonderful loving ways that only his creative and iconic talents could match.
My only wish is that he would have lived long enough to truly enjoy the fruits of his labor. If he had been at my job he would have qualified for the package long, long time ago.

I truly hope he rests in PEACE and that his children continue to be loved just as he loved them.
In life, and especially on this journey there are sure to be days when you falter and give in.......just remember to never give up.
