Exercise Challenge

Good Morning everyone.
I am going to start doing a daily exercise post.  Checking in to make sure we are all getting active. I am a walking example of what exercise and diet can do. I lost 70 pounds in one year following lap band surgery. My doctor told me the average weight loss is 50 pounds. I exceeded that. I contribute that to exercise.
So every morning I am going to post what I have done or what I plan to do, please join me in becoming more active.

This morning I performed 45 min of upper body weight resistence training and
30 min on the stair master

I challenge my sistah's to get active. There are far to few African American women in the gym.

I am not afraid of tomorrow,

Good morning.

Congratulations and continued success!!

I don't post daily, but I'll check in every now and then.  I can't dance, but there is a Hip Hop class at the gym tonight and I'll be in the front row making a fool of myself.  LOL.  I'll also do two miles on the treadmill and some ab work on the exercise ball.

Have a good day!!

You've done a great job Barb! I've started a renewed focus on exercise too. I'll be in the gym this morning for a spin class and return later this evening for eliptical and resistance work.
