Love this post! I am an excercise-aholic!!!! I truly love to excercise...even when I was heavier...but now seeing the results is so much better!!!

Anyhoo....like you I love excercise so much that I am plannning on becoming a personal trainer myself! I had my surgery in April 09 and have lost 60lbs...and over 40 inches....Went from a size 24/26 to size 16...OMG!!!!

I workout 2x per day...I get up at 5:30 am...  normally do a DVD...this morning I did Total Body Crunch - Sculpting and Cardio by The Firm...and after work I either do the elliptical or the treadmill for an hour.....and usually do abs every night on the ball....

I will be checking in daily!!! Continued success to you!!! Congratulations on exceeding the average weightloss for a lap-bander!!!!

Alicia

Hello Leesha,
   Congrats on your weight loss.
It seems we are like minded.  I too exercised when I was heavier, I was always the big girl at the gym. LOL.
I am hooked, if I don't go work out, I get crabby and just don't feel as good as when I start my day doing some type of physical activity.
I am tyring to get back into the 2 a days. I plan on going to cycling class after work, I did weight training and the stair stepper this morning.
I have a GREAT personal trainer who I owe most of my fitness sucsess to. He believed in me before I had my surgery. He said I never needed it, I think differently. It changed my life, all for the better.
Kepp up the good work, we will inspire one another.

I loved going to the gym and you are so right that we are not there in great numbers.

Count me in!

Got a gym style treadmill at home and loving it.

Completed week 2 day 3 of couch to 8K
46 minutes total
5 minute warm up walk
8 minutes jogging and 1 minute walking (alternate four times)
5 minute cool down walk

If I am gonna eat   like a fat girl, then I gotta workout   like a skinny girl!

Hey Barb !

I have my gym bag set & ready to go for  my regular gym trip tonight.

When I go I generally stay for at least an hour and do

45 mins on the eliptical,

3 sets of 12 reps each on the thigh machines abductions and adductions (where's spell check when you need it )

And I have begun to do 100 crunches,

50 squats ( 25 each leg)

and 50 arm curls using 5 lbs free weights ( 25 each arm)

I know full well of the benefits of  exercise.

It has been most instrumental in weightloss & toning attempts.

Great post and idea !

In life,  and especially on this journey there are sure to be days when you falter and give in.......just remember to never give up.
