^5 on the co sign - man am I learning that lesson.... AGAIN.... the hard way.  i KNEW when i did it that getting a cell phone for someone was a BAD idea - I should listen to me more often!!!  LOL

BUT - I wisely put that mug on ANOTHER carrier -  no turning MY ish off behind somebody else's #!!!!  LOL  still - bad call on my part.

I have been asked to get apartments and cars for people - AWWW HEEEYLLL to the NAWWW Bobby!!!!!!  Had a chick be BOLD enough to ask me to co-sign for a car that was BETTER than mine - now what would I look like stuck with her note driving in my raggety-er car???  ~geeesh!~

OK - First - dumb question...........what does OT mean?

On to the topic.......I just say don't start something you're not willing to finish. If you're dealing with someone with BIG money problems you'll have to remember - you knew that from the beginning when that joker can't never take you anywhere or start to ask to borrow money.

LOL OT="Off Topic" meaning it's not a WLS related topic.

I feel you on knowing what you're facing - but would it make you step away from a person?  If you found your SOULmate - but homie had, like, 100K of bills with a 40K job......... would the almighty $$ make you leave him on the curb?

Finally...........I've been wondering that for months.....duh.

No, I don't think it'll make me step away from a person. You know how us women are.........we always think we can "fix" everything. If you're trying............I could work with that; I couldn't let money make me walk away from a soul mate.
Good example...........you know i was married young (18) on our first date we caught the bus to Chi-Chi's (i miss that place -non in Michigan now)and couldn't afford a whole meal so we split one. My husband still talks about it to this day........like.......this women was with me when I had nothing now she can have anything she wants.

Now, all my girls in high school was chasing those "ballers" and couldn't understand why I was dating him.......but honestly my hood was full of "ballers" and it was something different about my hubby........he was the one for me.

Just my 2 cents.

It depends like you said, if they are still adding to it and looking at me for a helping hand........nah.  Homey don't play dat!  I dated a guy who was always trying to keep up with the Jones' buying the latest cell phone b/c all of his boys had updated ish then turn around and sprint turns the motha sucka off every other month WTF?  Is it more important to profile with a hot phone or to actually be able to use it.

If you're in dept and you can handle sure we can rock but further down the line when you start talking about combining finances and future plans it becomes problematic.

I am going to be honest and keep it as real as possible.  If you dont have 2 quaters to rub toegther you get no love from me. I have been there and done that. I dated a guy that had just moved to my town and only had a little peice of job. He mad min wage, and only worked 20 or 30 hours per week. Any time we went somewhere guess who had to pay.....ME! That got only really quick. If your credit is so jacked up that your car is in your moms name that is a problem. I want a man that is my equal, you dont have to be a millionaire.....but I do need you to show me that you can hold your own. I want to know that you can pay your bills WITHOUT help.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself Each day has enough trouble of its own.' Matthew 6:34

Money can't buy you love, but it can sure rent you some good *****

But I digress...

If she's got bad credit, Double_Ayy! says, "Dump dat azz quick, fast, and in a hurry, Yo!"

That's the type of person, female or male, that will be sitting up in the club dressed up to the nines, buying drinks, laughing and smiling like nothing's wrong and won't even have bread, water, or cheese in their fridge.
