A dream deferred...
I’m not waiting to live. If you are, what are you waiting for?
A Dream Deferred
by Langston Hughes
What happens to a dream deferred?
Does it dry up
like a raisin in the sun?
Or fester like a sore--
And then run?
Does it stink like rotten meat?
Or crust and sugar over--
like a syrupy sweet?
Maybe it just sags
like a heavy load.
Or does it explode?
I refuse to do this. I keep jumping the ledge, and by the grace of the Almighty, I keep landing on my feet. That's why I have a goal of something each year to do that I haven't before - so that i always expand, not stay stagnant or contract.
I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions! I'm saving on the newsstand price.......

Wow....that touched me. That really struck a nerve. I have put dreams on the back burner. I have put the needs of others above my own needs. I have put my life on hold to care for others and in many ways, that was necessary and I would do it again, but I know God doesn't put a dream in your heart that you can't achieve. You may have forgotten about your dreams, but He hasn't. We are not promised tomorrow. Today is the day to live.

Great post !
In life, and especially on this journey there are sure to be days when you falter and give in.......just remember to never give up.
