OT- Solange Knowles new hair do

I think that is really cute and I'm sure she is loving it. What's wrong is Mel B. of the Spice Girls fame shaving her baby girl's head into a "fro hawk". That baby didn't ask for that haircut. lol

I have heard and read that Solange is quite different from her sister.  Solange is the more feisty -free spirited one.   She sounds like a girl after my own heart. 

I personally have had my hair cut like that several times..and I tell you...its the most FREEING feeling.   My  barber used to work my hair over.....and have it all shaped up nice in the back. 

It was kinda cool just to allow my head to  breathe and be as it was....with a little bit of gloss on my puckers and some mascarra of course

Back then I used to get much attention from the men as well-  a big,  bold, bald headed chick wasnt safe in the hood

give me the fortune, skip the fame.

no way would i want to be a famous celebrity in this day & age. way too much scrutiny.

I LOVE it...I did the big chop 2 years ago and she has a nice shape head "do you boo" lol

Ooming from a sista whose lost whole heads of hair multiple time....I understand!!!.....not long after my WLS surgery I messed up and put color in my hair.....my hair was past my shoulders....put a perm in and had to cut it all off.....my stuff was shorter than her's!!!.....it wasn't the first time but I made the best of it....it's only hair....didn't change who I was and best believe it wasn't something I planned....but I dealt with it...we don't know the cir****tances behind her choice to shave it, so **** um' boo....do you is what I say to her!!!

I say go ahead Solange..I used to wear wigs and weaves all the time I recently cut all my hair off too. You know people all ways have to find something to talk about.. Its not like she went all crazy like Brittney.

I don't think there is anything wrong with it...but it's not particularly flattering for HER.

I don't see anything wrong with it other than she needs to add a little moisturizer and probably neaten the edges.  It's kind a clear that she uses wigs and weaves all the time because her natural hair isn't that thick.  Cute 'do for a well shaped head.
