I honestly and truly believe that there are some, (I call it as I see it) that believe that African Americans are not capable of any form of intellect. That assumption is based on sheer ignorance and it is also learned behavior. 

Now these are the reasons that *I* believe that you posted this pathetic post whether it is racist or *not* as *you* say. We can all however agree that this post is pathetic and ignorant to say the least. 

1. In hopes of stirring up enough trouble so that it is sent to the R&R board where others may agree with you and give you a few cheers.

2. Many Caucasians are VERY upset over the fact that the late Michael Jackson's death has gotten so much attention.

3. Black in America is currently airing and many are upset.

4. Twice again, some of the more *sneaky* racists have been CAUGHT by making the same ******g mistake that they ALWAYS make in their haste to hate. IE: The swimming pool incident in PA where one of the perpretrators couldn't even get his LIE straight, and the Professor Gates incident.

5. Our African American President gave an opinion (although he regrets giving it) regarding the Professor Gates incident that many were not comfortable with.

6. Michael Vick is about to play football again.

7. You are behind a computer screen and would dare not ask questions such as this one in the presence of a live forum of African Americans.

Now just tell the truth and shame the devil and admit your intentions. We can respect that more so than the skirtin round the issue tactics that everyone are so accustomed to.

I am, and will also explain that this question keeps coming up and that I believe that the powers that be should feel obligated to give an answer. They will probably give the same logical answer that many here have given time and time again, but perhaps the answer coming from the head honcho's will be more respected.

That was probably one of the most racist responses I could've gotten, and again, I really was not out to start a race war. I still am not sure if you were joking or being serious. Were you implying that no one but black americans can enjoy soul food or dreadlock their hair?


How is that racist?  Diabetes, sickle cell anemia, heart disease, high blood pressure...all are greater considerations for the Black community than the white community.  Additionally, physiologically Black women/men carry weight differently, have a heavier bone structure and lose weight differently.  While many of us crackers (how is that for racist) walk around looking like Foghorn Leghorn after WLS many of the black women have the smallest waist I can only dream of and are dealing with losing effectively in other areas.

As for the Black American forum--the US everyday is the white American forum.  I post regularly on this board and have even been to a meet n' greet.  Get the f* out of here with this baited post and then your bull**** of the All American board. 

If you want to get real with it, we all are black.  If you believe in Christianity you should be able to figure out simply from geography that Adam & Eve weren't vanilla.  Scientifically you can make skin lighter but not the reverse.  This isn't about the good of America--this is about simply a place where someone is comfortable.

As for white people and 'locs--JUST SAY NO!  The shiot looks dirty, disgusting and nasty.  Say hello to shampoo and keep it moving!

I wouldn't be offended however, I would be curious! I would probably  around to see if any of the topics was of my interest then I would join in. I hope that I will see you more often on this forum. Don't let any of the responses you away.  Sometimes when we respond by typing it can be taken the wrong way, So please join the Black American Forum anytime!. We're all one big family we've all had WLS and I'm sure that someone will be encouraged or motivated from your advice.

Keep in mind that black people's hair need more nurturing and conditioning than white people. Are you using any type of African American conditioning products in your hair?  This what the hasty responses were trying to articulate to you, that certain questions can't be answered from certain people with no knowledge of our background.

Are you apologizing for some of our responses if so why? And why do people always feel they have to apologize for what is true regardless of how it is said the topic and question is still the same. And Ignorance is very sad.

Nope! I would not be offended.  Have at it if you or anyone on OH pleases......but that's just me. And I hope I never get to the point where I give a schitt what any online forum (OH included) chooses to do unless it directs affects me, my family, or my money in real life.
