Perhaps I'm a little naive because I really dont find it impossible to believe that she really was just CURIOUS.....  

Its just like the question about why do we have our "own" tv stations, beauty pageants, etc.... and how would we feel if there was a NAAWP, etc.   I've heard it all a million times before...

To be honest, I was surprised that things went so far (eta:  on THAT post)  ...  but then again, it's been kind of quiet around here lately, so maybe it was just time for some drama...

I don't find it impossible either.  My point was, I found a particular poster's opinion to be rather crass and rude in response to her question. 

Get it: I had an opinion about an opinion.  But I'm sure that person will be all wounded by that.

I totally 'get it' and I feel you bruh. 

In fact, I was wondering if/when this particular "issue" was gonna be discussed ...
