Ok, I have to ask this question - about Michael Jackson....

Ok, for the last few years, some people has suggested that MJ lighten his skin purposely to become white, and a LOT of black folks resented him for that fact and a few white folks thought he was "looney"..lol.
But if you can actually look back at his Pepsi commerical that they recently aired it all makes sense when his hair caught on fire and all this "strange" transformation started to take place, I ALWAYS believed him when he mentioned that he had a skin condition Vitiligo, which is a disorder in which melanocytes (the cells that make pigment) in the skin are destroyed. As a result, white patches appear on the skin in different parts of the body. Similar patches also appear on both the mucous membranes (tissues that line the inside of the mouth and nose), and the retina (inner layer of the eyeball). The hair that grows on areas affected by vitiligo sometimes turns white.
I personally think that he DID have his skin lightened only to offset his skin disease to make himself look better since he is performer and has to look his best always, and as far as his multiple plastic surgeries that's another story, I think he was happy with his look at one point but somehow got obsessed with it and somehow took it a bit too far when he got a botched job, I personally think there was reasoning behind his NEW look, not necessarily tried to " change" his skin color.
Regarding the rumors about him NOT being the biological father to his kids, his KIDS LOOK biracial to me, they don't look 100 percent Caucasian, I have seen biracial kids look totally white and I have seen biracial kids look totally black...so I am not sure why the media is insulating those are NOT his kids, his wife Debbie Rowe was VERY pale and white and look at the features most of the kids has full lips so I think they are HIS kids...what are your thoughts
Anyway I loved that man and I was a huge fan and I will miss him regardless

I personally liked him better at this point

But this is when the transformation began and after the his hair and scalp was burned in that Pepsi commercial

When you're a celebrity like Michael was, the most minute blemish to your body will make you feel as if you look ugly to the world. It probably started with his hand (the reason for the one glove years) and probably extended to his face. Did he wake up one morning and say to himself, "I think I want to appear white" and went with that? I doubt it.
2. No I don't think that those are his biological kids but that's okay. He loved them as if they were his own. I'm cool with that.

Naomi-
I thnk he was fine in both of those pictures, as he still has more black than white in the second one. It's when he started looking like a ghost and having to wear very heavy makeup to even have a "look" is when it all went south for me. Plus, the botched nose job sort of wrecked it for everybody.
Nevertheless, he was a global entertainment phenomenon!

I think the last child (blanket is his biological child)...looks like him. Not judging Michael and I think it still goes back to this identity thing...but I wonder why he did not consider having children with a black woman (no wise cracks please). I mean I am sure he had just as many offers from them. Hell...I would have given him one or two or three...LOL!
Edit to add:
I am not saying all men that get involved with white women necessarily have an identity issue...I am specifically referring to Michael and considering his relationship with his father.
I also did believe that there were some skin issues going on as well. It was a combination of things. Michael was a very complicated man.

You know it COULD have been his environment, perhaps there were NO black women around him, or he could have done like a whole lot of OTHER BLACK MEN they wanted their kids to "look exotic" and there is nothing wrong with that, I wished more black men would marry black women this way I would have not had to go out of my race and marry a white man (just kidding).
But I get what you are saying, I think Micheal and a whole lot of others in that time period had identity issues and he probably, and sadly he had identity and self esteem issues that he admitted when he was a teenager when his dad used to call him ugly and had a big nose and I guess he tried to change that sadly.....

So it is FIRST for me and him, he has never dated a black women and I have NEVER dated a full Caucasian man, I have dated mixed men before and my ex-hubby was Egyptian...so sometimes we have to look beyond our skin color if we want to marry a good man. Good luck with your dating! I have been there and don't want to get back out there anytime soon.
