Congratulations! I dont know you but I am so happy you found someone to love and he loves you back. The LOVE is the most important part of the equation!

I believe he had identity issues but I'll avoid playing home psychiatrist, ok maybe just a little.  He looked great during his "Off the Wall" period.  Then I thought it was a gender thing and he wanted to look like Diana Ross, or Barbara Striseand (sans blond), and I finally settled on perhaps Elizabeth Taylor with the glossy black straight hair.  In retrospect, the combination of vitiligo and burns could certainly change his skin.

I have in-laws who are extremely light skinned with pink lips and that odd MJ coloring.  I was shocked to find out, after having known them for many years, that before vitiligo they were darker than I am.  I am as dark as my avi.  Had I not seen a small patch of remaining pigment I'd have doubted it.

MJ probably reached the point where all the dark Derma Blend concealer in the world was not enough (A product many with vitaligo used before Flori Roberts sold the brand to a white company).  Then had to swithch to a light concealer, and finally bleach what was left of his pigment to even himself out.  Can you imagine how emotionally draining that would be for any Black person?

As far as the kids go?  They are his because he said so.  We know Black people come in all shades yet are still genetically Black.  Even if they are sperm donor kids, so what?  They are culturally Black kids loved and raised in a Black family.  We don't love our adopted children any less than our biological ones so I say YES, those are his kids.  The genetics are irrelevant as far as I'm concerned.

Hey MSW!

Whats up gurl? I am glad u took it a little deeper. I only answered the question as to my guess on the genetics but I agree with you wholeheartedly....those kids are his regardless. I also really hope that they are able to stay in their environment and that Debra Rowe at maximum gets visitation. I mean she gave the kids up...if she has any love for them she will let them live and grow up as they have been. It would not be to their benefit to have to experience the culture shock at this stage.

I totally AGREE! they ARE his kids since he raised them and nutured them and showed them love, but I do believe they are HIS biological kids especially the youngest one.

Black parents always use to say, "Ill beat the black off you"  and everybody knows Joe "father" beat the **** out of them kids, so I say he made the threat a reality.

Ok, damit, yes he turned himself from a cute black man to a white translucent eunuch, but I still loved me some  Michael.

Them kids are white, and so what if some mixed kids are whiter or browner.    Not one bit of his "black" blood smeared anyone of the three???      That family has a lot of mixed kids and they are a beautiful caramel color.  But his are all Vanilla,  please...

I'm just saying...................

Good to see you Lee! I agree in some pics those kids don't look like they have a drop of black blood then again you see them and they look rather dark....I think the FEATURES are more important than the skin hue....as we always come in different shades

I am  MJ fan to my heart and it was broken when he died.  But I can still be objective about his situation.

Michaels story is a tragedy and when i think about it I get teary eyed.  All he wanted in this world was for us, his fans to love him and we do.  So iside from his "white "kids and his skin changes the point we are missing is that he was an addict to pain killers and was enabled by money grubbing dr.s and staff.  Its all incredibly sad and I hope someone pays for his death.

No matter what

WE LOVE YOU MJ!!!

Other than Valena (sorry honey!) I have never seen a biracial, mixed, whatever you want to call it child with NO features that wouldn't indicate they had a black parent.   While I do think the youngest is not 100% vanilla, I don't think he is Michael's blood--I would guess Native American or Hispanic.   Anyone can be a parent and some better than others so I do believe they are his kids...biologically though hell no.

My dad has Vitiligo ...he has the white patches all over from the neck down...sorry pop but it does look weird.... so I can understan MJ wanting to just even his complexion out espeacially scince he is/was in the spotlight all the time. I have it a little also but tiny spots that you wouldnt notice unless you were really looking at me hard.
As far as the kids biological or not he raised them so they his.
