OT: Why do folk assume or think you want to have another kid if you only have one?
How about being 36 with no kids and everytime I turn around folk asking me when you going to have SOME kids? Or looking at me like I have 2 heads and 3 eyes or that I MUST be defective in some way because I chose not to consider having kids until I'm married? Or folk drawing the conclusion that I am too spoiled and shelfish to want children?
You only get one life -- I'm gonna live mine the way I want to -- not like society tells me I should.

. Then she tells me that she's sorry to say that if my body isn't producing hormones that she's afraid I won't be able to have anymore kids. If the church pianist had of been there I probably would have jumped off that table and started shouting but all I did was throw my hands up and say thank you. To top it all off the guy I've been seeing keeps telling me he wants me to have his baby. ARE YOU KIDDING?!! I wish everyone would get it through their thick skulls I DON'T WANT ANYMORE KIDS!!!! Let me tell you something...I HATE it...My fiance has two children- 17 and almost 16- Know matter what anybody says we are having 1...That is what we agreed to and that is all we want...Not to mention I have custody of my 8 year old brother...I would rather be a foster parent than have multiple children myself...I am looking to get pregnant next year and if I could would get my tubes tied and not think twice about it...It took a lot for me to decide to have just one...I would tell people I would have another when you are ready to raise it...lol.
My mother has 7 children...My dad has two sons younger than me...and my paternal g-mom has 6 children almost 30 grands and my paternal g-mom had like 7-8 children and a bunch of grandchildren also...And about 95% of my family is in PA...So plenty of cousins to play with.
