Looking for a surgeon.. any help would be appreciated

Hello Everyone

I'm trying to start my weight loss journey..I did some research on Surgeons then I had a thought..why not ask my new OH buddies..

I'm looking for a surgeon here in Tampa Bay area.. I live in Clearwater but willing to go over the bridge. I'm looking to have the Lap band surgery or at least explore my options with the doctor. I'm not sure where to start on this WL journey. I'd like to get all my ducks in a row before I start sharing my decisions with all my family and friends. My husband is supporting me and the few I let in on are supporting me as well

if I can get some suggestion that would be great!

My only suggestion would be to explore all your 4+ weight loss surgery options. Decide what surgery you want first, then pick reputable surgeons to have consults with. You wouldn't want to be stuck with a surgery because that's all he/she knows how to perform.

Post this request on the Florida board and research the surgeons suggested or that other used on the Florida board as well as the types of WLS to see what best and fits best for you!
