Day three of this mission: 

Good morning BAF fam. Many have started, some start today or tomorrow; Join anytime you please.  Do whatever works but
tell the whole truth and be accountableNo Mercy and No Excuses (Love that phrase. Ms Kim's words blatantly plagiarized, again)I’m beginning with the 5 day pouch test followed by a seven day protein train. Feel free to do whatever you're feeling or whatever's feeling you.  
  

There was better than good, through total cluster fkcu’s this weekend. So, there are definitely some toes in the fire today!  Hell, we all know who you are because you told the whole truth and held yourself accountable which is greatly appreciated   Now’s the come to Jesus moment when we repent and get back on track. We’ve all been reminded how easy it is to fluck it all up. 

How did you do this weekend?  What have you learned and what can you pass on to the rest of us?  What worked, what didn't, what was a total cluster fkcu? What's planned for today?  For the week?  Comments, critiques, advice?

I had to stay in almost all weekend to avoid temptation. I knew I just could not handle it

For me its day three of the 5DPT.  I can chew again, yippee! 
Soft Protein - canned fish (tuna or salmon) eggs, fresh soft fish etc.

Yesterday was a killer and I came real close to eating solids, just a nibble. Thanks Ms SJ.  Your post put me back on track by reminding me that what I want now will thwart my mission.  (I was fantasizing big time about that potato bread.)  I am cured of wanting sliders only and coolwhip and ff cream cheese is not a meal.  

For the day I had three servings of soup, two servings of jello, one serving of pudding, and four protein shakes, two of which I had to choke down.  Calories 962 / Protein 137 g, a personal best / Fat 32 g/ Carbs 48 g
Total liquids 104 oz/ water 44 oz All supplements taken and workout done. 

Today’s goal is still 100g of protein; 80 oz of liquids including 40 oz water, supplements, and exercise.  I’ll be eating the 5DPT menu, but I’m not doing the all you can eat in 15 min thing (crazy). I’ll be weighing my food and having a 30 minute meal as I have been. Part of my wls objective is to manage my attitude towards food. If I skip the weights and measures, I’ll end up stuffing my pouch. 

Now if only the scale would start moving in the right direction.  I was actually up by 0.2 lbs after day one.

Even though the food in the food court was screaming "Faith come and eat all of the delicious carbs", I resisted!  But, I later had three bites of mashed potatoes at Applebees.  My plan for today will be to still low carb it and to not allow the inner fat girl get the best of me.  I will also try to up my water intake by at least another 16 ounces.  Ya'll pray for me because me and water do not get along prior to noon. 

My plan for today:
Right now-sipping on coffee to warm up the "band"...LOL.
B-Eggs and/or sausage patties
L-Salad
D-Salad with meat
Water-80 ounces

I can barely walk by a food court so I just stay away from the mall, lol.  You're damn good to be able to stop after 3 bites.  I'm still working on that.

Good Morning!

I started yesterday, but changed up a bit.  I started with the protein train....couldn't quite get with the 5dpt yet....

I had:  bacon for breakfast, grilled chicken for lunch, and spinach and turkey burger for dinner.

I went swimming to beat the heat for my exercise.

I was lacking with the protein because I ran around too much to get my shakes in...will do better today on that. 

For today, I will be having a cheese and sausage omlet for breakfast, protein coffee for snack, grilled chicken salad for lunch and turkey burger for dinner.

I will do my Biggest Loser tape, get my water and vits in too.

I can't blame you for skipping the 5dpt.  The liquid pase is brutal.  Day one was ok but by day 2...  well you know. 

That protein goal is tough when you're busy

I had a GREAT weekend!  I got two days of weight work in this week - and my stomach did NOT blow up like a puffer fish!  I'm learning about this new body of mine......

I did notice and figure out that I wasn't drinking enough water - how, you ask?  No 'morning travels to the porcelin (sp) shrine' - water helps the doo-doo SLLLLIIIIIDDDEEE.... LMAO!!!!  So I started guzzling bottles of water all weekend.

Food wise - did pretty good, didn't go overboard on anything.  Back to my regular plan this week - salads for lunch at work - I buy a big bag of it and keep it in the crisper at work.  I also have a jar of artichoke hearts and some boiled eggs, I dress up the salad with that and if I am really hungry, I add a packet of tuna.  

Looking forward to this week - I'm shooting for three days of weight work, but still paying close attention to how my body reacts, so we will see!!!! 

I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions!  I'm saving on the newsstand price.......

Glad you've jumped in Ms MM

You waste no time getting back to the weights.  Didn't you just get clearence?  I can't make any excuses for skipping sessions around you for real.

LOL yea - got my clearance about two weeks ago and have had to ease into things - but I finally just said f0it, I'll deal with the swelling........... since jumping back onto the routine, it's been a little crazy - my stomach blew up the first two times, but it's getting better - I went back to wearing my compression garment during the day, and that's helped tremendously.  and I am sore as hell!

And really unconditioned :(  Used to pull 70-80 on deadlift - I am back at 40lbs.... that just ain't right!!!  So now I am REALLY motivated! 

I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions!  I'm saving on the newsstand price.......

Well I am starting my 5day today. This morning Protein Shakes, Lunch will be cream of chicken soups, sf Jello,. Please pray for me today on all liquid.
