Gotta Question??????
I am often too abrasive and will put my foot in my mouth so I have been learning to say something nice or don't say anything at all and keep it moving. Doesn't mean I'm not thinking it though!
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."Destiny_Fulfilled~
Rhonda not everyone can handle the raw uncut truth. Some mistake it as criticism, hating, etc. And worse, they ASK for your opinion and get defensive when you give it to them. Girl pick your battles.....Tell her/him that purple wig, hot pink shirt, green pants and orange shoes look good and keep it moving!
now if we are TRUE friends, I'm going to give it to you STEPHANIE style!

Cause you just can't tell someone that their baby is honestly one of the ugliest things you've ever seen!I always try to tell people upfront the first time, if you ask my opionon, be ready for the answer, cause you might not like it. Then after they have a look of shock on their face after the first request, I look at them shrug & say, I warned you, but you had to ask anyway. Then as a followup for my delicate brothers & sisters, I ask them if they're sure about really wanting my opinion, cause you didn't seem to take it well the last time.
Although I'm known as a person that is too blunt and honest when expressing my opinion especially if someone asks me. However, I have found myself giving compliments when I really what to give a different critique soooooooo I can't make the $100.00 offer but I will say that 99% of the time I am honest or I just keep my mouth shut.
With my close friends I am straight up honest if they ask me my opinion, even when they don't. I love and care for my close friends and I don't want them walking around tore up from the floor up thinking they're looking good. But I do give them my critique in a sensitive but blunt manner.
Do you think it's wrong or dishonest to give encouragement to someone who is trying?????
