1St Day of School Workout, MY RUNNING AND ARM ROUTINE

Many have asked me about my arms and how to get rid of arm flab, well this is a good place to start, with push ups.

-1 hr run at 6:00 am


-4 sets of 10 bicep curls with 20 / 30 pounds dumb bells.  (heavy weight, less reps = big biceps)

-35 Push Ups  (50 is my goal)

-15 Pull ups   
  


 
You want Great arms,  Here is where you begin:  At home on the floor, you don't have to go to a gym to get great arms.

I do use resistance bands...do you consider that punkish?

I WANT ARMS LIKE LEE!!!!

I don't really like running that early but school starts back today so I have to run early today

Resistance bands are great and I don't think they are punkish they just didn't give me muscle I wanted.

Try doing some pushups to see how many you can do,  do the on your knees one they are pretty hard and will build up your chest muscles which will make your shoulders look bigger

Not sure if I want bigger shoulders...how about well toned...like Angela Bassett?

I think Angela Basset has built up shoulders not just well toned.      I just wish there was a dang pill to take and make my belly go away and my body perfect.   

I am so tired of exercising.

A push what!!! I dont even know if I can do a 1/2 of one.

But can't I do something else at home on the floor

You can do  the ones you do on your knees. 

Shoot if you do um right you can incorporate them into that other thing you may be able to do on the floor.

You can also do a push away, if you don't want to do the push-up on your knees, using a wall, stand so that you are away from the wall, then lean into the wall and push your body off the wall, this is good especially for those who have knee problems but can not do a full push-up. The closer your feet are to the wall, the easier, the farther away, the harder the push-away will be, start with easy, work up to harder.

Hey Lee,

How'd you make out with that P90X thing that you were doing?  You recommend it?

I did P90X and P90X PLUS and it worked really well at giving me muscle but I didn't lose any weight.

I only recommend it if you have lost all your weight cause it is very frustrating working out that hard and not losing weight but gaining because your packing on so much muscle.
