I hopped on the scale after getting home from a long weekend away out east and....I lost 4.8 lbs since Friday!  I guess all that walking and playing tourist really made a difference.  While I didn't journal my intake, my eating wasn't horrible, but I certainly didn't deny myself what I truly wanted either.

Oh yeah and an added bonus-I reached one of my goals I initially chose when I began this journey: No need for a seat belt extender on the plane!  I had enough room to actually tighten the seat belt too!

Yay me!  I guess I'll cut back on my I hate my band comments for awhile.

Congratulations Michelle on both your SV & NSV!

Thanks!  I was starting to think the victories had ended for me.

Congratulations!  Especially on being able to use a regular seat belt again.  I have a flight on Friday & hoping that I've lost enough to not have to flag the stewardess down myself.

I'm not sure how tall you are and your body makeup but our current weights are pretty close.  I did fly United, I have found their seats to be a bit roomier.

I'm about 5'9.  I think I was ok last time I was around this weight.  I've finally had a surge in my weight loss finally, since i've finally got all my issues (strictures & ulcer) worked out.  so I've gone from 311-301 in less then a week. So, I'm pretty confident I'll be good to go. Even if it takes me 15 minutes to readjust myself. Doggone it " As God is ma witness, Ah will neva weah a seat belt extender aghen!!!

Oh yeah you should be good.  I'm only a little over 5'3" and I weighed 307 the day I left.

Thanks. It's been a long time, since i haven't had all eyes on me, when asking for one. Now, i'll be estatic if I don't have my seat partner stare at me with a look of fear & dreaD!

I'm not proud to admit it but after trying to be discreet on one flight and having  the stewardess yell from the front of the plane to the back asking the other flight attendents if there were any extenders by them I took that puppy home with me.  I have had it for years now and it universally works on multiple carriers.

I lucked out the middle seat on my outgoing flight was empty and since I thought a 6 am flight this morning would be a good idea the plane was more than half empty.  Not that I had to worry though, I was able to have my arm rests down without feeling like I would leave a piece of my thigh behind when I tried to get off the plane.

oh girl, how I had wish & had snatched a extender on my trip to europe last year, as I might as well had a big old orange target on my chest, as that extender was as orange as a hunters vest. & EVERYBODY kep looking back & staring as it was so long it was hanging on floor & I couldn't tuck it anywhere without bringing added attention to myself.
