Mr Ayy...I don't think I have ever asked you that question.  As I look over this post, I don't seem to see a response from you

To answer your question....I have dated both older and younger.  Actual maturity has always been my thing.  I have gone as much as 7 years either way.
The question that I am asked most often:
 Is that your hair??????

Hmmm...

I've dated women who were at least 5 - 10 years older than me but rarely have I gone near any woman with dating on the brain that was younger than me in the past, because as I increasingly gained weight they were more inclined to look past me and want to holla at one of my boys who may have been old enough to be their father or something, simply because he was a slim dude.

I'm 17 months older than my husband.  I figured since women tend to live longer...  Ha!

Based on that, do I qualify as a cougar?

I have always found older men attractive.  I've dated men 20 years my senior when I was just out of high school.

The problem with this is these same men are just plain old now.  As a result, my age range is closer to my own, mid 40's to mid 50's.  Perhaps I'll do youger when my own age group is so old they can only rise to the occasion with pharmeceutical intervention.  As for now, young men just don't do it for me.

Hmm...how old is 'too old'? How about that ol' fish eyed fool I'm divorcing...how about dat!?

As for too young...well, over the months before I was taken off da market by my baby love, I dated guys as young as 33 (no shame to my game...I put the COO in Cougar, baby!) and the older ones NEVER made it past 48...hell and no!

My honey is 4 months my senior...he has still 'got it' (yes lawd!) and knows how to treat me and what I like.  So, I'm good.

Ladies...be careful with the older ones...they can be controlling, lack self-esteem, and manipulative...to the point of causing you to doubt yourself at times.  Been there/done that.  And, the younger ones - watch their asses too, because somehow some of them think you owe them something for them wanting to be with you.

All in all...as I have said on FB...a man will do to you only what you allow. Oh hell, now I'm on the empowerment tangent.

Time ta go...

generally speaking I date women much younger than me so I can definately understand the ladies that consider themselves cougars. I cant hate on them because i ussually date women between 27 and 35 myself. I only dated older women when I was younger ( like in my 20s and 30)  . Many women I dated back then were in thier 40s and it was fun( back then). Now that i am old (46) I prefer the younger ones.

I am 41......if I were in the market, I'd probably range from around 27-47. For something serious, there would need to be that special something at any age. In life everything is practically relative.........
