Hey Kim!

I didn't agree with Jillian's tactics AT ALL.  I guess it's good that I wasn't on the show....she might have gotten slapped that day!!!

Hey Bamsmom......(Soror....:-).....I watched it last night as I do each season.  It's like drug almost at times because I tell myself that some of the tactics and routines are excessive and demeaning, but yet they seem to be so effective.  I'm glad that Shay finally pushed on, but I thought Jillian was just flexing and flossing for the first show.  All that wasn't necessary!

It cannot be that smart and healthy for them to push people that size with the health problems that they stated to such extremes right off the bus.  I thought that one lady was about to go into cardiac arrest!

......But I'll keep watching!........

I watched it and was kindathrough most of it.  What I just can't deal with is how Jillian shouts and gets in folks face, I know that's her M.O., but that wouldn't work for me.  I really believe there's a way to get people motivated and focused without screaming at them like a drill sargent.  Also, I didn't like the "reaction" by both Jillian and that guy whenever folks would weigh.....they already know they're dealing with obese folks, and the negative snares  like "OMG--400+ lbs" don't help.  Everyone on there has issues with foo,as we all do...................i think it's hard enough getting up in front of all the universe showing all the fat, and then to be demeaned, or carted off to the hospital just adds to the trauma.....................i'll continue to watch it  from time to time to see the transformations.

I watched parts of it, but i unfortunately missed the stories.  i stopped watching it several seasons ago as well... maybe due to jealousy :), but i think i will tune in this time... it looks like it's going to be challenging, and i'm excited to see the changes.  my 11 year old wanted to go through the tv and help the lady who was training when julian was screaming at her.  had to tell her to simma down....

I cried. I don't know HOW Abby has managed to pick herself up and move on, after losing her entire family in a car accident.
I really wish Alexandra would have had the chance to stay. It helps so much to get it off while you are young. I really HATE the way they vote folks off. I say the low man should just go, no voting.
I feel so sad for that girl weighing 476 pounds at 29. Those are the ones, I honestly wonder why they don't go on and do WLS already.
I don't think the challenge was foolish, 1 mile. What was foolish was that woman leading into a dead azz sprint right from the git go. When you weigh 300lbs and don't exercise, what the hell makes  you think all of a sudden you can sprint down the beach like you Rocky Balboa? Yes, immunity is important, but geez people, come on.

I watched last night. Some of the stories were heartbreaking the only thing that bothered me was jillian. I really wanted too smack her.
