OT: Un-WOW moment and pity party......

aight - so I was walking to a mgmt meeting yesterday and one of my co-workers said - 'I need to get some leggings like those you have on -they're cute!'

total buzz kill - why? you ask...... THEY WEREN'T LEGGINGS - THEY WERE MY REGULAR DAYUM PANTS!!!!  Message - your pants are tight as hell cause yo azz is too big for them!!!!   I thought I was cute.....

And my babygirl (who's turning 10 tomorrow) said to me yesterday "I'm tired of you being a single mom - when are you going to get a new boyfriend?  You're a good person, somebody should want you"  queue up the heartwrenching music please - hand me the razor blades while I roll up my shirt sleeve.............

I tried to give her the 'mom's just single, not lonely and you don't NEED a boyfriend or husband in life' speech - she looked at me like   you know, the 'mama you know you bullshiottin' look.  the other week she asked me about my ex - if he was ever coming around again - I told her probably not - she said "He should be over here begging you to come back - if he doesn't, he's a FOOL!"

   BLECCHHHHHH!!!!!!

SO glad I set my focus on my end of '09 projects - distractions are WONDERFUL!!! 

You don't like  so here's a .  Tell babygirl Happy Birthday for me tomorrow.

thanks Faith - I'm going to her school at their lunch time with cupcakes and gift bags for her class - like a 'Princess for the Day' type thing - she will love it!

You're welcome. I miss those days of going to the school bearing goodies for the class. I wanted a daughter but I was blessed with two sons. I dote on my nieces every chance I get.  I won two tickets on the radio (yeah I am starting to be like Mrs. Rhonda) to the Saints game the other week and we couldn't go but my nieces were the lucky recipients because they are only 40 minutes from NOLA. 

Thats so nice #1.  Times like that I wish I was a mother.  On the other hand they are so flip these days with the honesty.  Not like when we were growing up it was the look of fear when you even thought about saying something.

Happy bithday to babygirl.

She just concerned about her mamma and wants you to find someone special and you will.

Babygirl knows a good thing when she see it.  She knows what she have for a mom even though they may try us sometimes. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO HER. Excuse me ain't yah ain't some of those pants are made to be tight.  The tighter ther better.
