So I have decided that I want more friends in my profile! I am trying to get better at commenting on my friends' success stories and anything else they post! Plus I still consider myself new at this and I am still pre-op so I would LOVE comments to my blog posts that I make. Any suggestions or anything will be mighty fine! LOL

Hey there. I don't talk much but I am always here to read the blogs. Therefore I don't have many friends either. I love this forum. It is one that you can count on being straight up and honest with you. Anyway, good luck on everything.
Whom ever said that people who have WLS are taking the easy way out, have never had this experience. This is a journey and a major challenge. Step by step I am striving to make it as a loser!!

First I will say hello Welcome To BAF. Boomsheeka01 this is your journey boo ..... I say this becuase you don't want EVERYONE in your world or space just becuase they have had WLS..... Your friends should be selected by you a special connection there strength or weakness should move something in you that you would want them to be in your space(friends list) .Start conversations/post add to post so that you can get to no other and vice versa. In no way was/am I trying to be mean .
Hey lady I am also a newbie and preop. I joined in June and i can honestly say that the BAF board is great in my opinion. People are willing to share thier stories which for us pre op people is great. I am very happy that I joined and you will see that people will extend themselves to you. The best way to get more friends in my opinion is for you to post as well. Ask any question that you have and trust me they will understand that you are a newbie and they will help you as best they can.Once you post you will find people to be very honest and helpful here. The best thing about BAF is that they give you str8 raw talk . I personally have met a few people on here that I am very greatfull to for there honest input. Dont be shy........just remember that everyone on this board was pre op at one time and they are more than willing to help a newbie. Feel free to add me to your list and remember to post anytime you want to ask a question............they love to answer questions here :)
