it's got not a DAMN thing to do with my political views - so you can kiss my azz on that.

No.  I don't wanna.

what it is about is PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY.  Folk have gotten into the mindset that credit is their God given right - it's NOT.  Just like you go buy a product and don't like it, you stop patronizing that place - do the same with credit!!!!  People DO buy homes WITH CASH.... cars  WITH CASH...... other big ticket items WITH CASH........

True.  Most of the people I know that did that are all locked up now.  But it's all good.

if YOU don't have your money together to be able to pay cash - then you are at the MERCY of whomever will GRANT you credit - you're basically begging - so don't get picky and *****y about the terms or price!!!!  Remember - you have the RIGHT to just PAY CASH!!!!!!

That's true.  I guess I didn't see it that way.

So YOU can go on with YOUR bullshiot about it being a 'Republican propaganda' thing - so I guess you 'Democrats' believe in the credit industry being middle class welfare?  It should be given and regulated as a public need instead of a for profit business??

Hey now.  I didn't say I was a Democrat or a Republican, but I do know that the Republicans favor big business and this (credit card industry) was one of their vehicles that they created to help drive their lust for money.

THEIR lust for money?????

what about the mofos running around gobbling up credit line after credit line and NOW complaining about all the FEES?????

AGAIN - you're faulting the BUSINESS and not the INDIVIDUAL.  that's why this situation exists - you expect the business to control the person!  and hell yea the credit industry was a GREAT vehicle to exploit mofos who aren't savvy enough to plan, understand and manage their money.

so - I guess car companies are wrong for putting out cars that mofos drool over and want to buy even if it means they live in a shack and eat ramen - but they fly at the club?

I suppose Tiffany and Cartier and Louis Vutton are wrong for being the 'thing' that these mofos get the credit to go buy and have - then end up broke as heyl......

And I also suppose that NO Democrat has EVER favored ANYTHING that made big money???  How - must feel pretty good to be that high and mighty.......

THEIR lust for money?????

Yep.  But hey.  Don't take it personal.  I'm not a racist.  Some of my closest friends are Republicans.  They can't help it.

what about the mofos running around gobbling up credit line after credit line and NOW complaining about all the FEES?????

Oh now that was silly on their part I agree.  Part of being responsible as an adult is thinking like a responsible adult.

AGAIN - you're faulting the BUSINESS and not the INDIVIDUAL.  that's why this situation exists - you expect the business to control the person!  Not at all.  and hell yea the credit industry was a GREAT vehicle to exploit mofos who aren't savvy enough to plan, understand and manage their money.

smh...

so - I guess car companies are wrong for putting out cars that mofos drool over and want to buy even if it means they live in a shack and eat ramen - but they fly at the club?

No that was purely a ghetto move right there.  Clearly a responsible adult should take into concideration the amount of added insurance coverage needed to own a Benz in the projects and rock a pair of gators.

I suppose Tiffany and Cartier and Louis Vutton are wrong for being the 'thing' that these mofos get the credit to go buy and have - then end up broke as heyl......

Yes and no here.  If Tiffany, Cartier, and Louis have the hott "****" and they have people opening charge cards with those stores to buy their merchandise, when the cardholder stops paying the bills then they will be the ones azz out.  That's why they push that burden onto AMEX and VISA.

And I also suppose that NO Democrat has EVER favored ANYTHING that made big money???  How - must feel pretty good to be that high and mighty.......

I am not a DEMOCRAT!!!  I'm a big ole sexxy Teddy Bear Pimp!

If you REALLY think not a Democrat in the world has hatched a plan or policy that's helped some industry make a ton of money, you're more miopically minded than I originally thought - I wonder how you make it out of a building with a 'push/pull' door.......

i'm with Dave Ramsey in regards to the almighty FICO score.

Dave Ramsey talked about the FICO score, and how so many people worship at the altar of the almighty FICO. We’ll do anything to get a good credit score – we think we need it to get ahead and be able to afford things in life. What people don’t realize is that it isn’t a credit score, its an “I love debt score". Getting into debt so you can get ahead will never be as easy as you think.

i've been following his program for a while...on my way to NO DEBT therefore, i need not to worry about mr FICO.

I believe that debt is bondage.  I don't owe anybody anything.  If I can't afford to pay for it, I don't buy it.

I do believe that having a good credit score is important though.  It can be done without going into massive debt.  I started establishing my credit when I was young.  I took out a small personal loan using my savings account as collateral.  I put the money I borrowed into a CD and let it earn interest while I was paying back the loan, so that way it didn't cost me as much to borrow the money in the long run.

Some people get into trouble with credit because they think they have to have everything NOW.  They get obsessed with material things or trying to impress other folk that could care less.  That's crazy...
