OT: Makeup feedback!

I used Clinique City Base before I switched to MAC.  I just looked it up and it appears they have discontinued the color I used.  I used Almond in that product.  After I started seeing the dermatologist again I started using their Stay True Oil free liquid foundation.  They've discontinued the shade I used in that as well.  Probably explains why I switched to MAC.  I quit using MAC and moved onto Bare MInerals.  Quit using that because it caused my skin to look ashy.  I'm now using Everyday Mineral foundation. 

Have you thought about getting a peel to help with the acne scars?  Just find one that specializes in black skin.  I use Rentin-A and that has really improved my skin.

Anyway, I use MAC studio fix. It gives me full coverage and I dont need to use a foundation under it because its included in the powder. I like having the air brushed flawless look, and the studio fix line does that for me. I go all day with out touch up.

Nah - 45 is too dark - I was NC43 all day!!!!  LOL.  Now I blend 42 and 44 - but they are dumping freakin 42!!!!

I went to the Clinique counter at lunch today - got a liquid that looked pretty good - I'm going to give it a whirl......

I just got home after spending more time than I intended in Ulta.  I was sold on a starter kit of Pur minerals make up-similar to Bare Escentuals, but pressed so not as messy. 

U said they dont have your color in "studio stick" not Studio FIX. Those are 2 different MAC products, thats why I suggested the Studio Fix

I just got color blended with prescriptives.  So far, I LOVE IT!  Perfect match to my complexion.  Always had a problem finding a perfect match. Either too light and look like a ghost on pics or too dark.  MAC NC 45 made me look ghostly in daylight. NC 50 work in the summer because I get really tanned. Prescritives is not cheap though.  I also heard they were going out of business, but Im stocking up.  Also, heard Elizabeth Arden I think does the colorblend.  I am really Happy with the Color Blend.  They blend it for your skin needs. I really hope there is a company that is around who does it.
