Another Take On Haiti

Forgive me if some of you have tired of this subject.....First let me say Glam there is no hate in my heart for you....like MD said just difference of opinions

Okay so today at work I got caught up watching video footage of what is going on over there.....It is really something to see actual footage

I saw this guy yelling at the camera man "help us, help us" then he stops and says "my sister is gone, God is Good"....then goes back to yelling "help us"

Then I see a family carrying a casket, via a wheel barrel, with their beloved family member, beautiful 29 yr old woman.... to the cemetery where there are lines upon lines of people....oddly not going left field hollering and yelling...they just wait patiently in hopes of giving their loved one a "decent burial"...so anyway this particular family finally get in ...say a brief prayer "God giveth and he taketh away"...still none of the typical sobbing

Next I see this guy showing the reporter his 2 story house that had collapsed and pointing the areas where there was a 16 year old girl, a 6 month baby and a 15 year old boy...he did it in this matter-of-fact kind of way, that I felt oddly proud

There was also this older woman smoking her cigarette telling the reporters "no I haven't gone back to my home" even though she left family members behind

I don't know if any of you saw the footage of the people marching down the street singing hymns....or the one girl that got rescued and said she didn't stop praying (no injuries either)...it is really something....and am I the only that thought something about how there would be tons of folks standing around and not digging people out? I couldn't help but think WTF death can't be worse than this shiot you've been living in say a prayer for those of us that are still here!

for some folks that supposedly have a devil hand over them..supposedly into Voodoo-devil-witchcraft stuff....I can honestly say this is the first time I've really seen true FAITH manifested in ANY human being!

I know its been said that we are living in the last days, maybe this is God's way of calling his people up...gone within a blink of an eye....maybe it ain't going to be as painless as some of you believe

IDK Jus****ching those video's and the faces took me here sorry but some of you know I be over-thinking stuff....LOL

Ro, I love you too and that's forever!!  I think you're right.  I don't think it's going to be painless. In the last days, there will be much pain, for all of us.   For me, I have only God to lean on.  So that's what I do.  I know that God is in the midst of all of the suffering.  His people are there and they are praising Him through this unbelievable sorrow and you are so right, I have seen AMAZING faith. I only pray that if I was put under such horrific cir****tances, that I would be able to be as faithful.  It's heartbreaking.  I wish I could do more.  Even for those here trying to get to their families, I wish I had more to offer than prayer and kind words.  It just brings me to tears!

Love is all there is, ever was or ever will be...

Ro, I have no idea what you wrote previously and I am just seeing this now, so I can only surmise by your question that you may think that I would or all ready have turned my heart against these people.  That could not be further from the truth.  I have not and would never do anything like that.  I love all people and I truly feel so broken hearted watching them suffer with so little I can do to help.  I am praying for them because I know that prayer is the most powerful weapon that we have against Satan and the most powerful tool we have to move God's hand.  I KNOW God will save and protect those who worship Him.  I know that Ro!!  He is also a God of immeasurable mercy and kindness and forgiveness and will forgive and turn back to ANYONE who is willing to repent and turn back to him.  He is love and is a loving, kind God. Without rehashing old ground here, but I never said, nor do I don't believe that He brought punishment against Haiti.   My heart is this I wish that I could be one that physically was there to help.  I can't do that, but I can pray continuously and violently for them and I can help in a financial sense.  That is the best I have to offer.  Regardless of whatever ill feelings there are towards me, I am not hard hearted towards anyone, certainly not these suffering people.  I hope I understood your question correctly and that I answered it for you.

Love is all there is, ever was or ever will be...

OOOPSSS, I deleted this message by accident.  I am responding again!  Sorry.

LOL!! Thank you.  Smooch.  I appreciate that.  I really, really do.  As for me angel,  I have chosen sides.  But I must tell you though, you have been on my heart for the last two days.  I can't help but ask, you said that you are agnostic, which means that you have doubt, not that you are atheist that does not believe.  May I make two suggestions (I mean no offenSE by this in ANY WAY) just pray ONE prayer!  Just one.  Say Jesus, I don't know if you are real BUT if you are, come into my heart and PROOF IT TO ME!!!  Show me beyond any question that you are real.  If you do this, I promise He will do just that.

Then read this book.  It's written by an atheist named Don Bierle. It's called Surprised by Faith.  Its a quick read, very well written and costs like 2 bucks on Amazon and I think if nothing else, may answer some of your questions. http://www.amazon.com/Surprised-Faith-Don-Bierle/dp/09714100 89

As far as praying constantly and violently, the bible says the fervent prays of the righteous man (human) avails much.  Prayer is powerful.

Love is all there is, ever was or ever will be...
