Update on me
Hello BAF family... I have not posted since January. So much has happened this year and my life has turned upside down entirely.
In January, I was at the end of my rope dealing with a lunatic boss and my mom's failing health. I put in for a transfer from Dallas, TX back home to Atlanta, GA and it was approved. I have been living with my mom since the end of February with my two daughters waiting for my husbands job transfer to be approved. Hubby got to Atlanta in April & we have been going thru lots of drama to buy and close on a house.
Finally, we were able to purchase a house! We have not been homeowners for almost 5 years. Thanks Mama Mack for the referral to NACA - by attending their seminar I was able to use their principles & get regular financing thru Wells Fargo! Gotta love FHA financing.
I moved into a brand new house and my kids are thrilled! We are still trying to get adjusted to living in the ATL. Funny thing is this is my hometown but, I have not lived here in over 25 years. Looking forward to my 30th HS Reunion this summer where I won't be one of the biggest classmate like I was at the 25th. lol Looking at those photos was my motivation for getting that weight off!
My mother just celebrated her 75th birthday with a surprise celebration that we threw last weekend. I am tired and still have boxes to unpack.
Hope to not be a stranger to BAF. I have maintained my weight loss for 3 years and still down 100 pounds! Missed my 3 year surgiversary on 5/9/11.
Gotta love being a size 10 vs a size 22! :) Life is GOOD! Glad to be in the ATL!
