thought I would say hello

I had surgery in November 2005. I've lost about 145 lbs since then. Starting BMI was 73 and now at about 50-51. Was getting depressed on my surgery month forum -- all the people that started at 200something or are now down to 100something. Thought I'd drop in here and hang with people that are in similiar places to me. I'm having a hard time not comparing myself to other people. Also - how do you add a small (square) photo next to your name on the forums? I added a photo to my general profile, but would like to add a second smaller headshot for my forum use.

You have to go to the main messageboard and click on user settings and it will allow you to download a picture. You have to make sure it's the right size though or it won't take it. I'm not sure how you resize someone helped me in that area. WELCOME to the board!! Jamie

I know how to resize - and I've already uploaded the first pic. I just wondered where you placed that pic so it would automatically show up on your profile pic. Does pic #1 have to be small enough to fit on the forum box to show up? I can resize it.

Hi LC, I'm almost 14 months out, lost 147 lbs still have quite a way to go. My monthly forum folks are mostly at goal and even getting their plastic surgery already. I'm stuck at 235 now and haven't lost anything in about 2 months...they have no concept of what it is to be an SMO and the dramatic life changes we go through! I'm about the same size now as many of them started out! You are welcome here! We understand! Lori
