Gym Is Open (Thursday)

Hi guys...I did make it to the gym last night, here is what I did, plus 65 minutes on the treadmill in 2 sessions for cardio. Med Ball Over Head Side Bends Med Ball Woodchop Squats Floor Crunch Feet Up Floor Crunch Knees In Floor Kickout on Elbows Elbow Raise Over S Ball Reverse Curl With Dowel Band Lateral Raise Band Front Raise Tricep Kickback on S Ball Superman on S Ball Front bend, back extension Reverse Grip Lat. Pull down One Leg, Leg Press (each leg) Band Side Walk Leg and Hip stretches I drug myself into the gym this morning...it wasn't easy! I did 45 minutes on the treadmill, then I did: S Ball Curl-In (hamstring curl) Ball Fly with Ring Ball One Arm Press with Ring Grab Ankle leg push down Pec Fly Machine (No seat) Ball balance alt. leg/arm lift Push/Pull w/cable alt. sides Tricep cable pushdowns DB Bicep curl Cable Upright Row Cable Squat I ache all over...when is my body going to get used to this stuff???? What did you do to move your body today? Lori

Nothing. I was so tired this morning did get to sleep until 2 am so 5 am workout wasn't going to happen. I will walk on my treadmill tonight for 30 min but that will be about it. I am lucky to be her at work right now. Hey I just found out yesterday that I can lift weights but I am really concerned about is my arms do you have any suggestions on the type of exercise to do? Praise Him, Lorriane!!! Anyway, I do "LOTS" of arm work and it has not helped my arms. I just have nice muscle tone underneath all the loose skin! See my profile for pics. God bless? Hugs, Tracy

gave myself the night off last night, but tonight will do 45-60 minutes of cardio followed by lower body toning and ab work.

I just went to your profile and yest it has helped some. You look wonderful WOW!!!!!!!!! your arms are not that bad I wish I could be so lucky.

Hey, welcome to this board. I really love it here. I think because these folks really understand what it is like to have put up with society's prejudice against fat people and what a complete transformation it is to have weight loss surgery, change your eating and exercising patterns...wow. Hi Lori, I walked two miles outside around my neighborhood. I also mowed the grass in my front AND back yard. That was a first. Usually I do only the front or the back in one day. Whew I am tired. Looks like you had a great work-out last night and this morning. Take care my friend. Diana

Thursday is usually one of my exercise day off, but I did do the stationary bike for 30 min. in the morning. I still despise strength training, so any time I can go swimming instead, I'll do that. So Friday, I'll try to do that instead of my usually strength training. Sally
