So today at the office I stayed in for lunch because I was expecting a phone call... I irdered Jimmy Johns wich is a sub place almost the equivalent to Subway. I found that I ate the whole sub with the exception of a couple of bites! Mind you it happened in three intervals about 1/2 hours apart but lord! I relaize and am reflecting on how horrible I feel for doing ot and for my own record wanted to put it out there in shame. So tomorrow will be better. I am just horrified that I did it... just yesterday I threw up from a few bites of stuffed pepper and today I can gorge awhole sub! keri

I think accountability is a good thing. Don't feel ashamed, just learn from it and make better choices next time. Some things to consider: - cut aside a correct portion and then throw the rest of the food away. This is hard for people like me. You could also re-wrap it and put it in the fridge and then take your lunch portion away and eat it elsewhere. - don't order more than what is a reasonable amount. - pack a lunch hey, boo boos happen, just catch them early and don't start bad habits.

One thing I do when I go to any type of restaurant, fast-food or regular, is to ask for an extra "go" container when I order my meal. I specify it has to be brought to me with my order. (My daughters think this is silly, but they don't have the problems we have). If the "go" container (or extra sack or whatever) doesn't come with the food, I don't open anything or pick up a for****il it's there ... and then I divide my portion to eat off and store the rest (or toss it if it's really can't be saved for another meal). I've not really had much luck using my WLS card in restaurants in my area. (Narrow minds, greedy pocket books, etc.) So this is the way I handle things when eating out. Hope it helps some, and don't beat yourself up, just learn and remember. ((hugs)) Myra G
