Hello all Smo's I thought maybe this would get some newbies and oldies to post today. Lets all tell what we are doing on this fine Saturday. I myself have absolutely no plans. Still taking meds for uti and my husband is working this whole weekend. So have my five year old grandson here with me for company.... Well sorta... He makes some time for his nana in between cartoon commercials lol... The sun is shining and hot hot hot! We live like 40 miles from the florida line so yes, we get alot of florida weather to. So yall get on here and holler at me and lets see what yall are doing today. Hugs Marge

Usually Saturday is my play day--dog park, swimming, organic market, and knitting group. But today I have to work. I work at a college and the term starts soon. I have an orientation for adult students (those over 24) and preparation for a week long program that starts tomorrow for incoming first-year students. So I'll try to fit in the swimming, organic market (has the absolute best organic eggs), and maybe some time at the dog park--puppy needs that (and so does the cat!). The weather is cool here--in the 70s to low 80s--which is great for me. Enjoy your day, Sally

Hi Marge, Well, today..along with laundry(which is always there to do) My hubby, #2 son and myself are going over to my friend's house to pick-up a wood hutch and some canned goods that she doesn't want. My best friend of about 14 years is moving out of state! I have been going through this silly grieving process for about 2 weeks now. I am gonna miss her..but she has used me in so many ways over the past years...It took losing 100 pounds to realize that I just didn't want to take it anymore. It's weird for her too because I vocalize back to her my concerns..and I was just too fat and polite to disagree with her in the past..so that's new for her too!....wheew! I didn't mean to go off on this road Marge!!! After the moving the furniture and food back to our house...I am going to a baby shower luncheon. I make every gift I give away..so It's been quite the process for me this week. When I get home, I'll type up the church buliten that my husband is asked to be responsible for each week....It's been 2 years, and I think he did it once when I was in the hospital. Oh well, if hubby looks good..so do I right??? Have a great rest of the week-end guys! Hugs Ginger

Well normally my saturdays are spent doing as little as possible, but today was different, I got up at 7a and thought "I think I will go mow the lawn"... For normal people this is a fact of life, the lawn needs mowed and so you mow it, well this is the first time i have ever mowed my lawn, not because someone else did it or i didn't hve grass or a mower but because i couldn't do it. I have, in 7 years, made approximately 2 passes across the grass with the mower, my wife always had to do it. I didn't have the balance or the stamina to do the whole thing - well today I mowed the whole lawn and it only took 1 hour!!!!! It normally takes Jen about an hour too, so this means that I can do it in the same time it take her, I used to not even keep up with her walking let alone pushing a mower across grass. This is FREAKING FANTASTIC!!!!!! I guess long story short, my saturday is another WOW moment for me... I hope everyone in doing fabulous!! kisses ~ Jeremy

I love those kind of nothing days, they are nice to have every now and then. My day will be a little busy, but not too much. It's cool and rainy here so I'm staying in, doing laundry and a little bit of cleaning. I also need to do some work for both my actual job and my freelance job, just a few things to finish. Then I get to spend more money on my car to get it aligned - just yesterday I spent $420 to get new tires, now I get to spend 40 more. I just love to spend that money! I am going to rent a movie for tonight and sit back and enjoy a quiet evening - I haven't done that in ages! Hope everyone has a great Saturday! Pam

MARGE!!!!!!!!!!!!! How ya doing chicklet?! I've been offline for a looooooooooooooong time due to a broken arm that set me waaaaaaaaaay back. I popped on today and I am trying to 'catch up' on all my peeps. I've missed you all! For me this Saturday meant going into work for 4 hours this morning. Then to my parents house to cut my mom's hair for her. Then home about 2pm for some lunch. Today is my 8-month surgiversary date. I only weigh myself once a month, on my surgery date. As I have been such a slow loser, any more often would kill me mentally and emotionally. BUT, the bottom line is I am done 110 pounds as of today! Yea! Finally into triple digits! Hope you and everyone else is doing just great! BIG SMO hugs to all! Have a Super Saturday ya'll! Huggs, Ruth

Hi Marge, I work on Saturday's. Once I got off I met a friend at Walmart. After I shopped I had to run to Kroger for my yogurt. On my way home I saw a exercise bike in someone's trash pile. The neighbor next door saw me looking at it and said the lady that lived there had a garage sale and put what she didn't sell out for trash. woohooo!!! She had twenty bucks on the bike and I got it free. The neighbor lady was so nice and held the bike till I got back with our truck. It works too. It has a timer and tells you how many miles you do. Can you tell I'm excited?? LOL Take care and I hope everyone is having a great weekend. (((hugs))) Diana
