I just signed up today for FitDay. I thought it would be a good way to track my calories, protein, exercise, etc. I am a little disappointed that they dont seem to have stored info for Curves or for any of my protein bars and shakes. Any advice for using the site? I hear a lot of people mention it, but am not entirely sure how its most helpful. I have been thru some weight loss stalls lately, so I can use all the help I can get. Any tips or info is appreciated.

Fit day does have a more extensive version of itself, but you have to pay for it. I utilize the free version every so often to make sure I'm on track. The best way to use it, is with a "grain of salt", meaning it will not be perfect, but it will give you a general idea of how you are doing with carlories and protein, carbs and fat. It's not 100 percent accurate, but it's surely much better then having to write everything down and then try to find it in a calorie book. For protein shakes and for foods you can't find on fitday that you eat often, you can enter in custom foods, all you need is a label of your favorite food, click on custom foods and enter it in. As for exercise, a curves work out would be considered circuit training. You'd enter in the amount of time that you did it, and that would be a "ruff" account of calories, but definitely not exact. It's based on an average size person, gives no account for intensity, and age. So again it's just a ruff projection, but it's still the best site available for this kind of tracking for free. Scott

LC, I use fitday and have for the last 18 months. I love it. I bought the disc and have it on my work computer, home computer and laptop. I take the data between the 3 computers on a flash drive. It has really helped me. You have to put in new foods as you eat them. It doesn't do the calories burned calculation correctly, but it helps. Lori
