Hello to all, As I have already told so many... I love to decorate and paint and wallpaper. Well I have had such alot of wow moments lately till cant even begin to tell them all in one post. I sit here writing this and cant begin to tell you how it feels. I have lost enough weight till I am getting so much more things done than can amagine... I have always been a huge fan of "trading spaces" and really to tell the truth... Any home improvement shows lol... Well when was at my very heaviest of 400-410 ?? I had gotten to where I couldnt even cook a quick meal without hurting all over my body for standing. Or cleaning for that matter. I have always been a very clean person and like my home a certain way but I had become something I no longer recognized. But sitting here today, life is so much better for me. I no longer clean a tiny bit here and there. I can clean my upstairs and downstairs in one day with no problem, wash clothes and actually fold them and put upstairs where they go, not feel like I am falling apart with pain at any given time. I was telling tanja that I had went and sponge painted my whole bathroom and bedroom upstairs and even moved the furniture to paint and put back in one day. I even changed the sheets on the bed and got up and down off of a ladder like it wasnt anything to do.... So I dont know about others that are starting off a smaller size but for me.... That day would have never came without this surgery. I can shop all day long and no leg and back pain and even come home and cook a nice meal for my husband. Used to, if I went to town that was about all I could do for the day. It would wipe me totally out.I had gotten to the end of doing things for myself. And now I go everyday walking to the end of our long ****ry drive to get my grandson off the bus ( I babysit) and actually enjoy life so much more.... So to all of you out there that wonder is this surgery for you or have any doubts that it gets better on them bad days .... Let me tell you.. Yes it does. And also thanks to all my many smo buddies that have been there for me.... Hugs Marge

WOW, Marge, I still have along way to go, but I totally understand about cleaning and going to the store, I use to dread Saturdays, I would do my normal grocery shopping and if for some reason I had to stop somewhere else, I would have to lay down when I got home. Now I can come home clean and cook too... I love all the home improvement shows also, been teasing my husband that pretty soon I will be able to all the things around the house, that I have been asking him to do. I did hang some pictures the other day, I had to use a step ladder. When he got home he couldn't believe I did it by myself. He was sure I had someone help me. It is such a great feeling and nobody else besides those of us who have been thru this understands. That is why I am so greatfull that I have found all of you. Have fun decorating.. Lynn

wow -- same situation(s) here. One thing that's been great is my stamina - I can go workout, come home and shower, then run to Trader Joe's, go shopping, do other things and come home and then do other stuff. The change is wonderful! I can't wait to see how things improve as I continue to lose weight.

I know - I LOVE Trader Joe's. I will miss them when we move from LA because there isn't one where we're going...but who knows, they open new stores all the time.... and we're here for another few years.
