My Bariatric Advantage cinnamon calcium chewables arrived yesterday, so I gave them a try this morning. Nothing like the taste of cinnamon flavored drywall to start the day. And to think I get to eat these nasty things until they are all gone, oh boy! I will definitely be looking for a better tasting alternative! Kix

Kix, Sorry you dont like them! I had a horrible time finding a calcium that I could stand.. I had/have a whole drawer full of different ones. I found that they all tasted pretty bad! Most tasted like a sweet tart mixed with chalkl! The worst was one that when you chewed it, it foamed up... Talk about gagging! Good luck finding a chewable that you like. Some people have good luck and others dont! I never did so I went to a capsule form! Amber

Yuk is right! Man, are they gross or what. However, I do have to say the mint is even worse. I feel like I am trying to swallow paste. Ironically, I have the cinnamon as well and have been getting those down. I just take little bites and chew a very little at a time - it doesn't seem to taste as bad that way. I would throw them away but I bought enough for 3 months and feel really bad throwing them away. Heck, I actually held my nose at one point so the taste wouldn't be so strong - it worked until I had to swallow, it was then I found out I can't swallow with my nose being held. New information that I did not know about myself!

ugh - after 6 months I couldn't take their chocolate tabs anymore-- now I take Citracal petites (swallow). Thank god! Those chewables were too much!

I enjoy Walmarts 'Equate' chewable calcium with Vit.D. They have a mild grape taste, kind of like a candy!

I just pop one of the BA cinnamon in my mouth and suck on it ... no chewing unless necessary! I really don't mind them, guess I'm a weird one! Jan
