Plastic surgeon consultation

I finally decided I was going to make the appointment and go for the consultation to see what my options were as far as plastics. The appointment is for January 8th. My husband and I are going to go together. Basically, if I can't get my insurance to cover it, I don't have the funds to get it done at this point. The doctor I'm going to see only practices on WLS patients and has a pretty good success rate at getting insurance approvals. Wish me luck ! Sandy 357/185/165

Dear Sandy, I have my first consult on Jan. 8th as well. I'm looking into a breast reduction (insurance should pay) and an upper arm reduction (?), which I know insurance won't pay for. I am looking into using some of my 401K to cover that part. It is a bit scarier to me than the wls as I will be, in some new ways, reshaping my body. I've need the reduction since I was a teen but always put it off thinking I didn't want to do it until I lost weight. Well, now I have and it is time to be shoulder and back pain free. Later this summer, after I've reached my goal, I will look into a tummy tuck. My surgeon thinks he can get approval for that. Good luck and keep us informed, Sally
