WALKING AWAY THE POUNDS
HI ALL, WELCOME
MY NAME IS GAIL, BUT I LIKE TO BE CALLED MYDEAR. I'M GOING TO BE HAVING SURGERY ON THE 15TH AND IT MIGHT HELP WITH MY RECOVERY IF I COULD GET TO MOVING NOW AND MAYBE LOSS A POUND OR TWO THIS WEEK.
I'M GOING TO BE DOING THE ONE MILE WALK AWAY THE POUNDS TAPE. NOW IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME THAT I EVEN LOOKED AT THAT TAPE AND I DON'T THINK I CAN DO THE WHOLE TAPE, BUT I'M GOING TO DO WHAT I CAN DO, AND WORK AT IT EVERYDAY. I ALSO HAVE A PEDIOMETER THAT I'LL BE WEARING TO COUNT MY STEPS. A PEDIOMETER IS ALSO ANOTHER TOOL TO MOTIVATE YOU TO MOVE AND PUSH FOR A LITTLE MORE EACH DAY.

i need a new pedometer

I would love to join you!, I have Exercise on Demand and it has the 1 mile walk with Leslie available, my commitment this week is that I will do at least 20 mins of it, and then increase it but to at least move for 20 mins a day, then next week add a little more;

I'm going to be doing the 1 mile walk away the pounds today too...I havn't done it in forever, but if I remember correctly, isn't the 1 mile walk tape only 18-20 min long? (I think the 2 mile was about 30 min, and the 3 mile about 45min) My goal is to be able to make it through the video (i'm not gonna pu**** too hard till I get used to it, don't want to hurt myself !)
hi jewelkat and heather S, i'm so glad you both are going to be doing this with me. sorry for replying so late. i go to church on sundays and we don't get out until 3:pm. heather, i have the sportline pedometer 360. and it's pretty accurate. but i haven't used it for a few years, and i need to replace the battery. really i have time. because i'm going to be doing the walk away the pounds time for now . then after i have the surgery and can get out and do more i'll use the pedometer. i read that doing the 1 mile tape is taking 2000 extra steps. that sound like a nice place to start.
okay my goal is to get to the end of the 1 mile tape this week.
and to get my signature to work, LOL

i need a new pedometer
I'm just wondering what kind of pedometer you have. I've tried using one in the past, to record my daily steps, but it wasn't very accurate. It would record any movement as steps, not just actual steps. What's your experience with them??

I'm gonna try and do the workout in the morning tomorrow, I won't have anyother time to do it!
