Answer to a Dad's Prayer

This is Michelle's dad, and I want to thank everyone on the Texas Message Board and the OH website for all the support you have given Michelle. She is now almost 5 days post op and doing beautifully. I am so proud she took this step for her health and well being. She has the determination and committment to make this work for her. Something she did not have before WLS. I can't thank the folks at OSS enough for all they did for her and Dr. Marvin for the great job and his great bedside manner. I was very unsure about WLS in the beginning but became a beliver after the seminar we attended at OSS. I am already seeing the NEW Michelle coming out and I am so proud of her and her new life. I know she will do well and I look forward to seeing a new Michelle in the near future. Just some thoughts from a father who is not only extremely proud and supportive of his daughter but thankful for all the support from all of you and the great people at OSS. Thanks, Michelle's Dad

Hi Michelle and Dad I am so happy your surgery went well and your doing good. I will say a prayer that you have a speedy recovery! You are truly blessed to have such an awesome Dad in your life that supports you and your decision to have WLS. His word really touched me because my mom is not sure about surgery but my Dad really wants me to go through with it. Dad's are so Cool! Good Luck on all your success, Kay
