Too Big For WLS in NC

I had this problem and I went to two different surgeons seeking help only to be turned down. I finally went to Dr. MacDonald in Greenville NC at ECU and I have had success working with his practice. He is well regarded in this field and in fact is one of a few doctors in the country to be asked to participate in a study for the National Institutes for Health. He oftentimes has a waiting list but if anyone in NC wants info about his practice feel free to get in touch. BTW my weight is 500 and my BMI is 70+. Best to all of you, Vickie

Hey Vickie, I know what you mean as I live in Charlotte and went through this problem as well.... no doctor in the Charlotte area would take me. It burned me up at first, but it actually ended up being a blessing in disguise as I found a wonderful doctor that I wouldnt trade for all the surgeries in the world! So believe it may have went that way for a reason! I hope all goes well with your journey!!!! BTW... ECU is absolutely fantastic! But I'm sure you know that!
