Hi Shelley, Thanks for the questions... if my answers show up first, though, doesn't mean I have to post them tomorrow - lol (it's someone else's turn). 1. what is your biggest WOW moment pre or post op? I'm not really sure on this one. I really like the fact that I am less than 100 pounds away from my goal; that hasn't happened in a very long time! I also like being able to cross my legs again (did I say again?? actually don't remember ever being able to cross them - lol) 2. what is/was your greatest fear as a child? Two fears... death was a big one for me when I was really young, and when I got older, it was my parents abandoning me. 3. do you feel you were loved enough as a child? No 4.IF you could be any one else for a day who would it be? Either Nikita from "La Femme Nikita", Sydney Bristow from "Alias", or Buffy, the Vampire Slayer. I want to be a strong woman who can kick some butt; I also like the secret, undercover aspect of it all! 5. what is one of your greatest dreams for the years to come? First and foremost to be happy and healthy, but specific things that I believe would help to make that happen is to continue losing more weight and finding a man to love and have a family with. Tanja

Hey SHelley!!! It doesnt matter who does the questions, just who wants to lol. Done good job! 1)Well for now I havent had the surgery, but for wow moment up to date would have to be me taking this step. You would have to know me to understand. I am the QUEEN of CHICKEN and dont go to the dr unless Im bleeding out of my eyes!! And having a surgery by MY CHOICE! Thats a WOW moment for sure! 2)My mom dying and leaving me and my sister with noone after my dad died and eventually it did happen. 3) My mom did the best she could but never felt was enough 4) Hard one here, hhmmm maybe someone like Jessica Simpson. To just see how the other side live with people drouling over you and having great looks for a day lol. 5) To be so much more healthy and smaller and get out more and travel with the family and have them say" slow down moma" jeez! lol

1. what is your biggest WOW moment pre or post op? My BAD WOW moment was when I got on a scale and thought I weighed "about" 400 and it read 499... that was a huge shocker to me... I knew I was big but that was too close to 500 pounds for my brain to comprehend! 2. what is/was your greatest fear as a child? When I was in elementary school Patti Hearst was kidnapped... I guess I identified with her as we have the same name and I was terrified of being kidnapped... to the point where I carried chalk in my coat pocket when I walked to and from school so that I could write down the license plate numbers of suspicious cars... kind of wierd, I know, but I wanted them to know where to look for me! 3. do you feel you were loved enough as a child? Yes, tho my father was very physically abusive, I always knew that I was loved by my mother, grandmother, and brothers (and now I know that I am loved by my father). 4.IF you could be any one else for a day who would it be? 5. what is one of your greatest dreams for the years to come? I want both my husband and I to reach our WLS goals and to be healthy. Patti

Great ones Shelley! Made me think!! 1. I am pre op and I don't have a big WOW moment.. perhaps losing weight pre op and my blood sugar going down to normal on it's own 2. I have always been afraid of Birds and things that fly in general. YUP even a big moth.. LOL 3. I do not feel as if I were loved and the one I perceived as loving me (mom)didn't treat me right at all but I didn't know any better. Now I just see it as I wasn't so much raised as allowed to grow up and I survived in spite of my so called parents. I am very close to my brother and always have been so I guess I felt it from him. 4. I've always thought I'd want to be a man for a day so I could pee standing up and not care about anyone but me.... But I like the being rich for a day too although it would be hard to go back to being me... LOL 5. My dream is to get the surgery and recover well and lose all of this weight that's killing me and to go see people I haven't seen and get out and travel and just run around and have FUN! Live life instead of watching it and feeling so sad and desperate all of the time.
