Good evening everyone.. I have been reading over some papers from my surgeon so I can make a list of stuff I need for surgery and after. It says that I need Liquid or chewable Vitamins and B-12. What do you use? Liquid or chewable? What is better? I have heard that We absorb Liquid better. Is that true? One more thing.. I got 4 Xmas cards in the mail today.. Thank you everyone very much. Thanks, Kay

Hi Kay, I'm confused too on the B12 I always heard that we need liquid. But my doctor says that pills are fine. Go figure! I also take 2 childrens chewables. But I dont chew them I just swallow them. Good Luck Kay! willby

Hi Kay, I take scooby-doo's they rock! I like the chewables. Don't do the gummy vitamins they are full of sugar. I was fore warned by a nurse at where I had my surgery. Hope that this helps, Monica F.

I've "graduated" from Flintstones Complete (took them for 6 months .. two a day) to Centrum Silver chewables. They're huge, but scored to break into two pieces, and pretty tasty. They had more of what I needed than the reg adult Centrum (I guess cause I'm an old f*rt ... !Willby!, no comment on that!!! I can just see your little fingers poised on the keyboard ... hahaha ... "Myra called herself an old f*rt" ... hehehe) Also, I've found if I combine the Centrum Silver with my Caltrate, eating 1/2 each together ... it almost masks the yuck taste of the Caltrate. ! good luck! OH ... forgot ... ... re: B-12 ... I started out taking it with my original surgery program ... one chewable per week. When I was "adopted" into my new surgery program at 18 days out ... long story see my profile ... they had me STOP taking the B-12 ... saying their policy was to watch my labs and only have me take it if my B-12 levels fell. So far ... I'm not taking it. Myra

Kay, I take Optisource from Walgreens. Some say you can only buy it online but they sell it in my local store. It has everything + iron, calcium, biotin(for hair loss) and it is a chewable that doesn't taste bad. I get my b12 through shots. They are 24.99 a bottle. Hope this helps. Nalani
