Saturday's here!!! Where is everyone??!

David I'm glad to hear that you are doing much better. Sometimes complications can help us get our priorities in order. Some of us just have to be slapped harder in the face than others. Get back into your routine and get back on track and I expect to hear great things from Missouri! Larry

Myra, I was up and gone by the time you posted! I had shopping to do!! I was told several times yesterday that my pants were too big so I decided I deserved some new jeans.. I got brave and went to the side of the store that has the "little girl" sizes!! I tried on 12s, too big.. 10s fit perfectly!! I did manage to squeeze my big ole butt into an 8 but my tummy keeps me from zipping them up!! Darn this tummy!! So Im now officially in size 10s!! Me and "my skinny legs" are going to do some walking after I get some lunch in my starving pouch!! Amber

My Saturday is filled with chores and exercise. Which is the lesser of two evils? Seriously, I didn't do my one mile of exercise on the armbike yesterday, having been too exhausted from doing both the armbike and extra walking on Thursday. This means the exercise needs to be my first priority today. The chores actually aren't a big deal. It's going to be very hot here in CO today, yet not hot enough daily to turn on the lawn sprinklers yet. My task is to take the hose and water the front lawn. Not sure why we need to water when we are expecting rain/snow and 40 degree weather on Monday. I sure didn't want to get up this morning. I was all comfy in bed and probably could have stayed there all day. Kix

HEY MYRA, IM UP BUT NOT VERY AT'EM. ITS EIGHTY PERCENT RAIN TODAY AND HAVE HAD SOME RATHER BAD THUNDER AND LIGHTNING HERE. SO LEON (dh) AND I ARE DOING NOT ALOT. I DID FIX BREAKFAST FOR HIM AND THATS ABOUT IT. OK! OK! I TOOK BUSICUTS OUT OF THE FREEZER AND COOKED THEM OK! NOW I CONFESS LOL.... ANYWHO I DID MAKE HIM SOME SAUSAGE GRAVY LOL BUT THATS ALL IVE ACCOMPLISHED TODAY. YALL HAVE A GREAT SATURDAY!! HUGS MARGE

Good Morning from the Aloha State!! We are headed out to the swap meet and then maybe some sightseeing for my Grandmother. I'm dreading all this walking..the swap meet is HUGE it stretches along the outside of a football stadium! On the bright side with more walking comes more loss..WOOO HOOO!! I'm having a little problem being thirsty and not being able to drink as fast as I'd like to. I feel like my thirst is never quenched. HAVE A GREAT DAY SMO'S!! Hugs, Jamie

Well its not saturday morning but saturday night. but I am here. We worked in the garden today, weeded and replanted the green beans. Bob thinks the hail we got last week beat them back in the ground as they never came up, so we are trying it again. Everything else is doing fine. Corn is about an inch high, radashes are coming up, and the onions, potatoes, are all starting to come up. Tomatoes we planted last week and it seems as the birds are becking at one of the plants, took all the leafs. At least Bob says it is the birds, I think a rabbit got it. I finally found some mushrooms Thursday. I fried them friday and ate three with no problems, but when I looked them up on fitday to add to foods, I realized mushrooms have no nutritional value at all. only wasted calories, so I will not eat them no more. At least for a while. maybe next year. we went to a auction tonight, I didnt get anything. Bob got some garden tools, and some danishes. well hope your day is a good one tomorrow. love marie
