Easter traditions, none. I've always said I don't do Easter. I don't do baskets, buy candy, color eggs, new outfits etc. this year I do have a desire to go to church, but kind of don't want to since everyone and their brother will be there! Some years I cook a special meal. Most years I don't. This year I have desire for turkey, so I'll make a breast.

Next goal: onederland
next fitness goal: I'm good with my routine where it is at the moment. I was short a workout this week so I guess my goal is to get back to my regular (4 days a week).
Can I just say I'm sick of these .9's that keep getting in my weights these past few Friday's. All week I've been 217ish, today it wants to jump. Grrr. It's still less than last week so I'll try not to think less of it, lol.

NOT RALLY ANY EASTER TRADITIONS JUST LOTS OF FOOD!
Oh yeah, I'm definitely a little mental. I figure I'd just make it thru these old ass protein bars that have been here way too long, then make my way thru the other goodies, but at a much slower rate. I just gotta stop buying stuff!

Congrats on making the choice to have wls. Just remember you can succeed or fail with any wls & all of them is pretty much a no turning back kinda thing. Research as much as possible, go to seminars, talk with other patients. Fear is natural, but if you educate yourself it might bring down the fear level a little bit.
You'll have to take a hard look at yourself & your dieting habits to find the surgery you'll like & be able to live with. For some people a restriction alone type of procedure isn't enough & they needed the extra metabolic boost that the rny & ds gives. I also had a high bmi that was in the 50's but I still chose the sleeve & am happy with my choice. I've always lost weight when I restricted my calories, but for others it was a fight for every pound. For each wls there are pros & cons. Do you have gerd? VSG can make gerd worse & I'm guessing the DS will do the same thing since we both have sleeved stomachs.
Good Luck in whatever you choose to do.

So funny...I am a snack buyer too... and then don't eat them. I have half eaten, or I'll eat one mini bag and have 6 left...all over the kitchen and cabinets.... something psychological in it probably....
