My body finally got the memo this week!
Highest: 350+
Program start: 328
Surgery Weight: 299
Last Week: 173
This Week: 168!
See the surgeon this week for my 9 month (10 now) that got cancelled.
Next Goal: 164 (surgeons original goal)
Down another 4 pounds this weekend.
I'm on an Optifast weight loss plan (so eating shakes, bars, and soups), and this weekend I went to Disney World! It went pretty good, all things considered. Saturday was pretty much on plan except for eating a couple hundred calories more; I was ravenous since I was on the go all day, I ended up walking about nine miles! Sunday had less product and more healthy real food (fish and green veggies), except for a massive soft serve ice cream cup. Hey, at least I enjoyed it! And put in another 7 miles walking.

Hi!
Welcome and congrats on your decision! I'm 10 months out. My only "down" side, (more like unexpected) is how subtly my body reacts to things. I don't dump. And it takes me a while of really "listening" to my body to know if something disagrees with me. I was expecting to be throwing up, slimming, stuck etc. Nope it's all very subtle for me and hard to differentiate.

4th week at 212. just my usual lose some stay the stay the same, stay the same. blah blah blah lol. Someone ran off with my measuring tape, so I can't even do that. Let's call it even for this week.
Cast is officially off in 1 week (but between you and me, it's coming off Friday at 9, I have a ringette tournament this weekend). Turns out I'm not replaceable, so I will play.
I have endured the are you crazy lectures for the last week and a half.
First of all, no regrets. It is much easier to stuggle with life and any medical issues at a lower weight.
I am recovering right now from Hernia surgery at the incision site. That being said it could happen with any laproscopic surgery.
The first three months were hard mentally..it is a whole new world including just figuring it all out and what you can tolerate to eat.
I do struggle with constipation that I never had before
I stongly recommend support groups including OH.
Good Luck!

I was excited because it officially put me at the random goal I set for myself based on Body fat testing. My doc doesnt set goals.
PS said he took off 4 1/2 pounds of skin.

I have lost around 10 pounds since December 28th. Even 7 years post-op, our tools still work if we use them right. Never stop trying!!
I hope everyone is having a great week!!
