I've been staying away for the last week or so, February is a crappy month for me mentally. I'm always depressed and this month hasn't been much different.

Food wise I've been sticking to y general food goals, no cheating at all but I'm at 11 months out now and I'm getting hungrier - I had been eating 4 ounce portions so I've increased to 4.5-5 ounce, depending on what the food is. I was still averaging around 700 calories a day so now I'm more around 800 calories a day which makes me nervous. I still have 50-ish pounds to lose. I don't want to stop. We'll see how my weight is on Monday.

High weigh: 377

Last week: 227

This week: 224 (met my mini goal of 225 finally!)

Next goal: 199!

Oops- 10 months out it is.

Keep fighting for every pound. It is much harder for us heavyweights.

I'm absolutely weighing/measuring portions. I'm tracking too (100 days on MFP!!) but the "every bite" part is probably a bit of stretch. Its only one time of day I struggle with 'grazing', and that's after work/before dinner. I wish I could exercise at that hour instead of come home; but family , kids homework...blah blah blah. I'll figure it out.

I'm 10 months out BTW.

I know this is the end of the week... I was away, which is always a little disconcerting because I can't weigh myself. My son and DIL eat very healthy but not low carb. Neither has a weight problem. I don't know how I raised a kid who has a normal relationship with food.

So I was up .4 but I always round off to the whole number, so I am calling it even. Yay for going away, eating more carbs and staying the same. Went to the Y 4x while I was there.

At 8 months out, it definitely gets harder. Are you measuring your portions and tracking every bite? Make sure they have not creeped up. Every little bit can make a difference.

Keep fighting!! You've got this!!
