You look great, nice pics! Big difference! I'm 4 days away from two month mark since surgery 46 lbs and I have been stuck for a week at that weight. It's been raining and cold and I have been too tired after work to move. I hope to reach 50lb mark in next 4 days so I will suffer through it. At least I get 3 weeks vacation soon. The diet is easy for me now as I am not hungry at all but the exercise part is tough. I don't believe anybody that says it is fun..it ain't. Congrats on your success so far and good luck in future.

I'm right there with you. I need to start working out. I tell myself that I am going to. Then I never make my lazy self actually start.

Down 1 pound this week which I'm telling myself is pretty damn good since I had 3 Thanksgivings and I followed the rules and everything - but still. Plus I had a big week last week. These are the things I tell myself when I lose 1 pound instead of more lol. And I don't even want to talk about exercise...mainly because I'm not doing it! And I know that's horrible but I did pilates for a while and dammit I just can't get in a routine.

I had an up and down week. Down 4 yesterday, back up 3 today. Darn water retention. On a positive note...I am exactly 50 pounds away from my personal goal. It's gotten a lot slower but it actually seems possible now.

So ok, I'm slowly working my way back, but my goodness it does get hard sometimes! I keep thinking just make it past the holidays, just maintain (my sanity!), keep pushin on. I really need to get into my winter exercise routine, but lately I haven't felt like doing jack diddly squat & want to hibernate under my comforter with a cup of coffee & watch bad reality tv, or good, depending on who you talk to, but Hooray for progress! My stats so far:

This week 196

I was surprised that this week I lost 5 pounds (still in the honeymoon phase but I've never lost weight during a holiday before!!!) and didn't feel like I was missing out on Thanksgiving!  I ate my turkey and green beans and a forkful of stuffing and I was good!  I made a sugarless pumpkin pie even mom loved it and ate it- telling me I'll have to make it again....soon

I felt extra-thankful because my 3-year surgerversary & Thanksgiving landed on the same day this year with a 55th birthday a couple days later.  I prepared and served a meal in a private dining room at my 90 year-old mother's second day living in an assisted-care facility.  My 95 year-old MIL was one of the guests who made a cute comment saying, "it's nice not to have so much to eat."  (Oops, to me it was a lot)  I have high hope to experience more freedom now.  It's ironic to find out the manager of the facility is an RNYer herself and senses my personality all too well pep-talking me to LET GO of caregiver burdens I've been shouldered with since a pre-teen.  High hopes--what we share on OH often.

No family drama is always a good thing. Awesome deal on the watch. My friends love their Apple watches. I am a google/android girl.

My next big purchase will be the Fitbit Aria scale. I am hoping my mom will get it for me for Christmas.

Wow. I hope the crowds were not too bad for you. My nephew had to work all day Friday. I did have to venture out of the house Friday afternoon and the crowds were still crazy. I am a teacher and had the whole week off.
