Lump found Post Breast Augmentation a month later
I had breast Augmentation in april all went well but when the swelling sub sided I found a lump. I do have fibrocystic disease, I will have biopsy tommorrow . My sister was DX with breast cancer 3 weeks ago stage 4 hers2 positive and came on so fast. I had digitial mamo and ultra sound 6 mos ago. My aunt and grandma both died of fast moving breast cancer which the mamo did not pick up, ,My sister had a mamo 13 mos ago. My faith in mamo is shaken and now i got a lump, She had pain, I have lump located in tail section of the breast, Hers did not follow the rule.. I am worried, I know I have 80% it will be nothing, My doc told me the fact I had BA it could be just related to that but biopsy is must, I hope anyone can shed a new spin on this I am sure I am not alone.

I agree with your doctor--biopsy is the way to go. I would make sure it's an excision and not a core needle. Have them cut the whole thing out, cut it up, and see what it is!
In the future, because of your family history, always ask your doctor to order an ultrasound with your mammograms, and to have them classified as diagnostic vs. screening. This will insure that they're taking a more thorough look at your breast and any potential abnormalities.
