To all of the kitty lovers...I have 9!!!
Hi! I am 8 weeks out. I have lost about 60 lbs, and am feeling great. I have nine babies... Cinderella (Cindy), Mischief (Missy), Toby, Jasmine, Molly, Gypsy, Seymour, Snickers, and Bailey. They have been so great with me after my surgery. It took them a while to figure out that at first they couldn't sleep on my tummy anymore, but I slept with a big pillow on my belly to stop them from jumping on it. After a few days, if they thought about it, all I had to say was no and they didn't jump on me. They have helped me out so much in my recovery. They make me laugh, and they snuggle me and ya know what the best part is? They don't care at all how I look. They loved me before, and they love me now. I don't know what I would do without them. (My sisters were not very happy, though, because they had to come over for 2 weeks after my surgery and scoopy the poopy!!)
And how did I end up with so many? A couple of them I rescued from abusive people, some were abandoned, and one was a baby laying on the side of the road next to her dead mother. That was really sad. In that same area, I have found numerous dead kittens who have been hit by cars. I have tried catching them, while they were alive, and even called the Humane Society about them, but nothing.
Anyway, I love my babies (spoiled rotten) and I just love people who have cats and know what wonderful and special animals they are. Nine is my limit, but I do continue to place abandoned and/or abused cats in loving homes whenever I can.

It takes a special person to have all those kitties and love them to death. I have 2 (piglet and princess, of which are on food control as well). They are 14yrs old and have brought me through some tough times. The went across country (CA -> NC), down to SC and to IL and most likely back to CA. They snuggled me when I was down, lost my job, moved, etc... Prior to the surgery the only thing I cared about was what would happen to them if I didn't pull through. They are spoiled, scaredy cats, and not to bright but they are mine and they love me for me, even when I am PMSing!!!

I am so glad that I am not the only person who loves their cats as much as I do. I have 4 cats ranging in age from 13 yrs old to 5 yrs old. There's Aligar, Monty, Tiger and Buffy. They have been with me thur everything and still loved me for me. I too was worried about how my cats would be taken care of if something had happened to me during surgery. I have one kitty that must have insulin twice a day. My husband was wonderful and promised to love them just the way I would. I even dress my kitties for Halloween! I love it. I sleep with them and watch tv with them. We cuddle and I just love them to death!
I am glad to find someone else who loves their kitties like I do too. Mine are so spoiled! They own this house, not me. I just "exist" here! I was worried too, if something happened to me during surgery. But I have 3 sisters, who would have split them between them. One of my sisters already has 6 of her own though! But she would have taken a couple of mine too.
I watch TV with mine too, and we snuggle all of the time, although now there is less of me to snuggle with! I used to be able to have 3 of them on me at a time, but now only one.
Thanks for your responses! I didn't think anyone was going to reply to me and my babies!!!
Hope all is well!
