My surgery was Tuesday EARLY in the morning! The next day I was saying " WHY did I do this! Everything is fine now! It was kinda scary though! I had a Rout bypass laproscopically ??? Not the banding surgery and I'm FEELING fine! Boy! I never had morphine before and was that weird! It made me nauseous! I didn't throw up and my GI tract is in full working order. Dr Chau was wonderful (of NJ Bariatric Center - Monmouth Junction NJ) He reassured my daughter and really helped her with this process as well! I can't believe how well I was treated at Univ of Princeton Medical Center. Here I am a plain poor disabled person on MEDICARE and they gave me a private room! What a relief that was because I'm not good when I'm not feeling well - I'm a grouch! Not nasty but hardly good-humored! I was home THURSDAY night and WERE my kitties relieved to see me! So far all is well! I am still recovering from Lyme's disease so I have to take Amoxillan again but I'm able to tolerate the liquid diet WELL and my medications today. There was a problem with my viens and they had to switch from my left hand to my right hand on Thur morning but that was about it. My viens are like that though - I know from giving blood. That's just one of my not so good health issues!
