Belle has cancer

My beautiful Belle cat has cancer in her jaw/mouth. She has been operated on, but it is a particularly nasty type of cancer. The vet says she probably has only weeks left to live. I feel so sad. Cathy.

I am so sorry to hear that your baby has cancer and there is nothing left to do for her. I know the helpless feeling you must have now. Like Dar said, I am sure she knows that you did everything you could for her, and all she wants now is for you to be there, just like you always have, to love her and tell her its ok. I wish there were something I could say to make it easier for you, but there is never a word comforting enough for something like this. I will say a prayer for Belle... Desirae

Aw thank you. Belle is currently resting in the middle of my bed -- her usual spot. She hasn't eaten much today, which of course is not a good sign. The other cats are being good. Its like they know something is up. I've been researching this cancer on the 'net and the prognosis is poor. I really don't want her to suffer. Thanks for listening. It really means a lot to have your responses to my cry for support. Cathy

Sorry to hear that Cathy, I don't know what I would do if one of my babies was in that sutiation. It would most likely kill me. Huggz, Dawn
